I was wondering which you prefer to be:
the Anesthetist / Anesthesiologist holding the mask
or
the patient under it?
I was watching some videos the other day - a cesarian section - where the patient had a modern day black beauty held on her face breathing oxygen while the anethetist held the mask. The patient was obviously concious at this stage because in the video you can see the anesthetist talking to her.
Anyone experienced something similiar? Or even just who would you like to be in that situation? The one holdng the mask in place telling the patient to breath, or the patient with the mask firmly held in place?
