My naturopath recently recommended that I take milk enemas for parasite cleansing.
Parasite enema
"A 2 litre cleaning water enema should be done first. Take 1 liter of whole milk with 2 tablespoons of salt. Room temperature. Hold for 2 hours. A pound of mucus may come out as result. The enema should be followed by another 2-liter enema at the end of the day or the next morning. This is when parasites and the ropes come out. This enema can be done once every 4 days."
Whew!
I tried this for the first time a few days ago, and was not able to hold the milk enema for more than 15 minutes. I find it easiest to accept enemas lying face down with my hips elevated in such a way that my belly is free from pressure. I took the enema and then rested on my right side.
So here are a few questions to people with far more experience than I have.
1) Do you think that more than one cleansing water enema and/or a greater amount of water would help my retention time?
2) Room temperature seems very cold. I heated the milk to 85 degrees F. Any ideas about cold temperature limits?
3) What kind of positions for receiving the milk enema would work best for extending my retention time? I haven't tried this yet, but on my next attempt I was thinking about starting on my left side, then on my back, and finally on my right side. Any advice here would be most helpful.
4) Are there any good quality inflatable double balloon rectal catheters available now? I have seen poor reviews of the Cleanstream version. Are there risks with retention nozzles or butt plugs? It seems that when my body wants to expel the enema there is not much that I can do about it.
Thanks!
