Do You Carry A diaper Bag?

Being a Diaper Lover (DL) that happens to be bladder Incontinent, I have an excuse to wear and enjoy diapers and plastic pants and not be embarrassed by wearing them in public. I've embraced it and started carrying my own diaper bag when I leave the house.

When I am in my 'responsible adult' mode, I carry a black and blue backpack that has Dry 24/7 diapers and plastic pants, a change of shorts along with disposal baggies, wipes, etc.

When in DL mode, I have a large Graco diaper bag tote, black with teal trim and I carry the following;

6 Dry 24/7 diapers

2 Babykin cloth diapers

3 plastic baby pants

1 baby bib

1 pair of shorts

1 T-shirt or polo

1 shortall - Winnie the pooh

1 bottle of baby lotion

1 bottle of baby powder

Plastic bags for dirty diapers

A container of baby wipes

That about fills up my bag, So, do you carry a diaper bag, and if you do, what do you carry in it?

Also, can anyone give me ideas on how to embellish my diaper bag to scream out "Diaper Bag" when someone sees it?

If you want a diaper bag that is obviously a diaper bag go buy yourself a real diaper bag for a baby, maybe one with Pooh on it. If you really want people to know it's a diaper bag buy a pink one or leave it unzipped so everyone can see what's in there. If you were really serious about wanting people to know then grow some balls and keep your diaper bag open.

You know there is a reason I keep my riding crop out in the open for everyone to see. I want people to know and to ask questions about what I like to do.

I do keep my diaper bag open as you can see from the pic. Everyone that looks should easily figure out that it is mine and the diapers are to big to go on a baby

I'm in college and the only time I wear except to bed when I need it because my bladder gives me issues at night is when I have an exam when I know I won't be able to get up and use the restroom for a while and with an overactive bladder I typically need to go more than normal, and I can't focus on my exam and using every muscle in my abdomen to prevent an accident at the same time so I wear protection during exams when I do that I just use my backpack as a diaper bag I usually put one or two extras just in case in a inside pocket and some wipes and barrier cream as well just in case they are needed but I'm not looking to really let others know when I'm wearing

Well I for one also carry a diaper bag out in public . An yes I have all the needed items in it to . Like you I carry a few Abena X Plus diapers . Booster pads , plastic pants with nursery print on them , lotion, powder , wipes and all . I love going into a bathroom for a diaper change . Besides carrying a diaper bag that looks for a baby . I also carry a very THICK diaper in my hand . So their is no mistake I am wearing a diaper . I LOVE seeing women's looks when I come out of the bathroom . Some give me a BIG smile .

I just bought a backpack/diaper bag with a tag on it for dads,i have not yet carried it outside.

I don't carry a bag specifically for diapers, but I do generally carry a bag with me and it does have my diapers and supplies in it. Non-diaper things in my bag are things like sunglasses, a small umbrella, medicine, a notepad and pen, and a water bottle. Diaper supplies are typically 2-4 new diapers (plastic backed), a few plastic grocery bags in case I'm somewhere that doesn't have a trash can, and wipes to clean up. I don't hide anything in the bag, so if I leave the bag open a little bit, it's possible to see the diapers, but I don't mind if people see.

I don't what you call a diaper bag per say. I do have a medium size gym bag that I leave in my truck all the time, I don't actually carry it everywhere. I do use it if I need changing supplies away from home. It's normally got two to four abena 4M diapers, booster pads, wipes, powder, small plastic bags, and spare shorts or pants.

Yes I use my ruck sack, because it's large enough to hold a pack or even a whole lot of loose diapers.

as many of you know I need to wear diapers because of my on-going and lifelong disabilities and it's because of this fact I need to have diapers with me at all times.

I wouldn't say I carry it as in always carry it with me, but I have one with all my things in case I need it. It's a black drawstring bag with a small zipper pouch on the outside. I keep some lotion (both regular and baby lotion), powder (again both kinds), and some exam gloves in the zippered part. On the inside I keep usually 2 M4 or the like and maybe one underwear like pull up ( in case I have to change out of diapers but still need some protection). Also have my wipes in there. Normally hats all. Sometimes I include plastic pants but usually I wear without.

I've got it all ready to go so if I head out for a long drive I can toss it in the car and I'm good to stop and change whenever I need.

I do carry a diaper bag.

It tends to contain:

2 or 3 x diaper changes

1 x mega-size jar of Sudocrem

1 x mega-size bottle of baby powder

1 x travelling pack of baby wipes

A good number of plastic bags

A changing pad

A change of onesie

A change of plastic pants

A change of pants

I have a graco backpack and a Fisher Price satchel bag. Both are just black and nondescript though. I don't like flaunting flamboyantly in public. There is an external wipe access on the Graco backpack but, to be perfectly honest it is just really nice and convenient. And no one seems to notice or care. Maybe they just think I am a germaphobe lol

I have the craco backpack. I love this diaper bag, and my friend make sure she has it with us when we head out.

Yes I have an unusually fully equipped diaper (kinda funny it's a TNF backpack model "The Surge") bag probably because i never have to carry it and it never gets left home , as i am in a wheelchair it always rides around on the back , and since most peeps in wheelchairs have back packs on there chairs , most people have no idea what so ever the contents. Not all people in wheelchairs use diapers or need diapers ( and many that do need them don't use them due to "shame") , about 60 percent of wheelchair failures and repairs can be directly traced back to urinary incontinence, the computer that interprets joystick movements to control speed and direction is usually directly underneath the seating system so urine gets in them and they are history , earlier model wheelchairs that where made out of steel would rust thru key supports and such , that's why newer model chairs are made with carbon fibre , fiberglass , aluminum and titanium alloy , it's both to make the chairs stronger lighter more durable but also less susceptible to rotting and moisture . I have no diaper shame and have been IC longer than I have been a wheelchair ,I used to actually be certified repair tech for one of the major companies because my late wife was in a chair , so it was slot easier for me to maintain her chair than to have someone come out and do it .

So yes my diaper bag is well stocked with everything I could possibly need ,and in the winter when I can get stranded somewhere I carry even more diapers, I have been stranded out of town with not enough diapers and getting diapers from a a retail store is more of a bad joke anymore.i have everything including a complete change of pants and onesie identical to what I am wearing so I can have a major diaper failure and no one would be the wiser .I carry everything from catheters and diapers to lidocaine and barrier cream a spare pair of handcuffs and a spare radio .

My diaper bag is an old back pack I ironically got in high school that someone was tossing, has a bunch of band names on it.

Yes I have two actual diaper bags one for my wife and one for me to have when we go out. The diaper bags are stocked with the same things. 2 AB diapers like Safaria, 2 booster pads, plastic pants, a panty or girdle, a big bottle of baby powder, large bottle of Desitin, baby lotion, a pack of suppositories, a pack of baby wipes, a pacifier. The main difference between the 2 are the bags themselves. My wife carries a nice pink larger diaper bag that is very cute and very obvious while I have in my car a black bag that is less obvious. My wife loves to take me to a mall and will walk around with me and take me to the family rest room to change me very exciting.

If I go out on a diapered day, wich doesn't happen enough come to think of it, I cary a black backpack (rucksack) with all my supplies in there. This bag has a laptop compartment to keep my diapers separate from all the stuff that can poke holes in them (so I don't leak on the first pee becouse of the hole in it).

I mostly pack it with 1 plain diaper and 2 ABDL ones. Wipes, cream and a plastic bag to store a diaper that I can not throw away if I change in a toilet without a trashcan, or if I change at a secluded place in the woods.

On vacation me and my wife go to a lot of museums, landmarks an other cultural things we want to see and pack all our stuff we need for our day in my diaperbag. It happened more than once that my wife needed something from the bag an opened it up, while I had the bag on my back, and opened up the "laptop compartment". This means: diapers (like ABU Space ones and Tykables) in full sight. Her only remark in this case is; Whoops!! And than she starts to lough in an kind of evil way ....... ?

Yes. It’s funny though, because I never use it. I keep a clean diaper, a clean pair of plastic pants, a booster pad, a tube of Vaseline, a tube of A and D, some packing tape, baby powder, wipes, nitrile gloves and a disposal bag. It seems like a lot but it’s pretty compact. It’s more for piece of mind than anything else, but when you need it you need it. I think I’ve actually went to it twice in six months. Once to get some extra vas bc the inside of my legs were getting irritated by the diaper leg and once to use the booster pad.

I always have a bag with spare pads or nappies and some wipes and sudocrem where ever I go.

I used to use a courier bag. But now I use a OGIO backpack to carry my supplies. I would not carry around a infant's diaper bag.

I do when I travel, but it's not recognizable as such.

I usually carry a backpack with my spare nappies in and what ever else I need to change while I'm out which usually in clues my dummy/pacifier but if Im not going to far from home I usually double up and wear my locking plastic pants and drink plenty of water or coffee before I go out

When out for the day i always carry a spare nappy or two in my bag but no one would know as it is just a regular bag, not a diaper bag.

I've got two diaper bags. One is a pink diaper bag when I'm feeling daring. The other is a Fisher Price napsack. The latter doesn't scream diaper bag other than the wipe pocket and if you look carefully you can see little icons for things like bottles and pacifiers on the pocket.

Inside are a few extra diapers, the wipes (in the wipe pocket), some pens (always handy), and an underpad that I use for a changing pad at times.

At first I thought "Nope". Then after thinking about it, I had to say "Yep". I have an old canvas duffle bag that Gets loaded up whenever I'm going somewhere overnight. A couple pairs of plastic pants, 2 cloth prefolds, a couple disposables, pins and all the other goodies that go with wearing diapers. I always smile when I see it when we're on a trip.

Yes. It's a messenger bag with several compartments, one of which has diapers. The others have more "purse like" items-check book, phone, pens, etc. I got tired of losing stuff and now carry the bag everywhere.

My caregiver carries a bag or hangs it on My wheelchair with supplies for a couple changes if needed. I also have a bag for other supplies for My vent & feeding tube etc. We just use large backpacks or gym bags. I really don't want to go around in public with a actual diaper bag. I don't get out often. We have found though if I wear a overnight brief with a booster pad. I can be out of the house most of the time for even up to 6 hours without needing to be changed. That may be pushing it depending on how many fluids I have had as well. But We rarely stay out more then 4hrs. And of course if I have a bowel event I do need to be changed as soon as possible. Which can be just awful without a family restroom.

I do carry a diaper bag for my baby girl when we go out or over to friends houses. I have 4 extra diapers, wipes, and extra cloths. Plus I always put an extra pack of diapers in the trunk in case of an emergency.
