Hello everyone, I am new here, so go easy on me please đ
I've been lurking around here for some time, but I've used toys for more than 10 years. In the last few years, I stuck with silicone toys exclusively, the medical or platinum grade. I have a few things from Fun Factory, Malesation, Tantus, etc and wanted to share opinions and questions.
First of all, silicone feels real good. No allergic reactions for me whatsoever. It cleans easily and there are no funky smells - either from new or after (messy) usage.
Up until recently, I thought that silicone lubes are a no-no, but... After reading some articles, doing a bit of research and tentative try-outs, it seems that, for all toys I own, using silicone lube is not an issue. I am using Durex's lube, which is dimethycone only, and to date the results are fab. Silicone toys are velvety smooth, when coupled with silicone lube it's an exquisite sensation. Especially for deep penetration.
After washing the things, I see absolutely no reaction, no change, nothing. As good as before. So... Am I the only one using silicone+silicone here?
One thing to note - for obscure manufacturers, silicone may mean something else than the actual material. TPE is frequently labelled silicone. TPE, jelly and rubber may melt when touching each other, but to my knowledge, medical-grade silicone (platinum cured) will not.
