Girth AND depth

So I enjoy both - depth wise I can take all of a 22" dildo I have which tapers from a small end to large end about 1" to 2" I think from memory.

Girth is probably my main interest and most fun, I can easily take 3.5" diameter and just trying to work in the small ass servant which is about 3.75" I think.

However, I have a 16/17" dildo that is also about 2.2" diameter that I simply can't get past colon entry, I see people getting fisted elbow deep and taking huge girth dildos really deep, I can take both depth and girth yet I can't do both. How do I need to approach this?

I am anxious to see what others post. While I enjoy enemas & anal sex, I am a newbie at exploring more girth & depth. Guess I need more practice

Girth does take practice, that and the correct lube.

To be honest I was surprised at how easy it was to achieve good depth, whilst I'm an experienced girth player I decided to try depth just for a bit of fun so I bought a cheap 17" double dildo and after a few plays it was easy to get all the way in, hence going for the 22" which seems just right, I'm not sure I'd be comfortable trying anything longer.

I just don't understand why I can't seem to achieve the depth AND the girth of some of my longer+fatter toys. I'd love to be able to sit right down on some of my favourite plugs that are slightly too long to swallow.

I didn't get into dildos or strap-ons until I got married. That was a very long time ago, and my wife taught me well. Mainly by repetition. I have to tell you, you will not be able to take both unless you practice, and practice in a manner that will allow you to accommodate the girth. Depth is just a matter of practice. Start with diameter you know you can take with a little discomfort, and either turn the object into an enema nozzle, or take as large an enema as you can and hold it while inserting the object. The enema will allow the object to enter easier than even a lot of lube. Practice, Practice, Practice. Get you enema volume up, and if you have an enemata, it will be easier to accomplish both. My wife died some years ago and I have not had a good pegging since. Relaxing is also a key. Hope that helps.

For me girth is the much tougher challenge. Girth means you have to have your anus expand to just get a large object into your anal opening. That takes practice- often months and years. Depth is easier if you are inserting something that fits within your colon- maybe 1 inch or less in diameter.

If you are trying to insert large girth past your rectum and into your colon you have to first navigate the initial bends like a "S" curve before heading up the descending wall of the colon. This can be tough and I would be very careful because you could injure yourself. If you feel pain, stop and back up. I think the main thing to do is proceed with caution and go slow and know that on some days you may be able to penetrate deeper than others. Take only what your body will give you as you practice this deep penetration.

There are a couple possibilities. If it's really deep (8-10 inches) the object may be hitting the bend where the rectum becomes the sigmoid. If it's shallower (3-6 inches) it can be the puborectalis "sling" putting a bend in the rectum. If that's the case you can try a position where the legs are drawn up more (such as squatting). There are many other muscles in the pelvis where relaxation makes things easier, you might want to try finger exploration first before going with a toy or somebody else's body parts, as then you can feel the tight areas.
