Booster pads

I do use a booster pad in my diapers. If me and my friend are going to head out in public, she makes sure I have on a dry diaper and a booster pad. Plus she always puts me in plastic pants also. This has helped out a lot, but by the time we get home I'm due for a change.

When I make doctors visits I double boost ,which is risky itself in the wrong diaper the boosters will swell and bypass the standing leakgards thus being more embarrassing for most people , when your plants are wet you can make jokes like maybe next time I'll buy some diapers ? But when you have a diaper on and it leaks lots of people loose the ability to joke about it .I've been IC for 20 + years and am a fairly dark sense of humor so i never beyond words and if it's a teachable moment don't waste it !

Any recommendations on Booster pads. What's a good top of the line booster pads to buy.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I really like the Tena Serenity Overnight pad. It is fairly thick compared to some other brands and it holds an amazing amount. It it made with an adhesive strip to hold it in place inside underwear. Since I always use one inside a diaper I poke holes thru the strip so that it wicks the pee thru to the diaper. I've tried a number of different pads and in my mind this one holds the most. Of course can be purchased in any of the big box stores. Good luck. Love to hear back from you on your decision and what works for you.

On the rare occasions when I wear a disposable, I put a terrycloth booster pad inside it. That feels nicer against my skin and it helps spread out the wetness. I found some very nice ones on Amazon.com that cost about $12.99 for three.

I wear at least two disposable diaper a day, every day. I place a Poise maximum capacity pad in each. Every two weeks or so, I open a batch of pads. I then run a Wartenburg pinwheel made up with five wheels three or four times over the removable strip. I put the pile of modified pads in a drawer. As needed I open the diaper, remove the strip and place the pad down the center of the diaper's front.

The wheels put hundreds of tiny holes in the pads plastic barrier and allows moisture to pass into the diaper. When purchased at a big box store, the pads cost about $0.25 each yet they double the capacity of the $2.00 disposable. The Wartenburg pinwheel costs less than $15. Be sure to get the storage case. Handling the bare pinwheel is tricky. Not a device you want to encounter when reaching blindly into a drawer.

This process saves me about $1,300 in diaper purchases per year. I've paid for and worn diapers for 25 years. Doing the math, I've saved $32,000 using booster pads. That's enough to buy a nice car.

I wear the tranquility top liner booster pads. I have also used pampers cruisers, or the huggies overnite diapers as booster pads. Just slit holes in the baby diapers and they work pretty good. You can use any size baby diapers for this.

I always use a booster in my diaper, regardless of where I am. During the day, a cloth diaper booster to add both absorbancy and also because cloth is superior in wicking wetness, so the whole diaper is being utilized.

At home I mainly use boosters to add absorbancy I'm a bit lazy and thereby I don't have to change my diaper so often. At home it doesn't matter that I have a very noticeable diaper bulge, since my wife knows that I need to be in a diaper. At work I have to remain discreet and stealthy.

I do, when I need them.

Depends on the situation, Sometimes booster pads seem cause a leak, they raise up the center and overflow over the leak guards. Some times what do if I can't change easily, Like on long hauls. Is wear a incontinence pad in my diaper and go in that and when it gets wet, discreetly pull it out wrap it up in a plastic bag and throw the pad away. Leaves me with a dry and not so smelly diaper.

I will use a variety of diapers and often supplement with booster pads. I take an overnight pad of some type and slash some holes in the back of it, this works well used in conjunction with crappier diapers.

I use booster pads while I wear at work it serves 2 purposes it guarantees I don't need to change throughout the 9 hour shift and it also gives me more of a waddle hehe

This DL does. To really enjoy my padding, I like it thick. Real thick. Example. Right now I have on a Tena Classic with a Walgreens brand brief cut out and used as booster inside the Tena. I poke tiny holes in the backside of the insert. Over top of the Tena, I have a Walgreens brand brief. Over that, I have a Depend, fitted brief. I'm not kidding. I have had this setup "on" since around 10:30 last night. I have had 4 nice wets since then. A couple smaller tinkles.

I cannot feel any moisture at present. I can't close my legs.

I use an overnight booster in my daytime disposables. Gives me so much more absorbency and the thickness is nice also. I like the idea of anyone interested enough of in looking to see my diaper bulge or the diaper sticking out at my waist.

Tranquility Brand Booster Pads are the very best in my opinion. I have also used Abena Booster Pads but the Tranquility line has many different options available. I used to use Depends Booster Pads but they no longer are available.

We use them. The Tranquility overnight boosters to get Me through the night. As well as on the rare occasion that We go anywhere. So I don't have to be changed for a long time. Unless My body stools. There is rarely any place convenient for a adult to Be changed.

I haven’t actually used any yet but purchased some yesterday. I’ll be testing them over the weekend.

I use to put 3 x5 cm thick boosterpads in my diapers.

We also use the booster pads during the day and at night. Using booster pads has helped out a lot during the daytime and at night. Having that added protection she is able to sleep thru the night without a diaper change.

I usually have a fitted cloth booster in my cloth diaper, I prefer a pin on diaper that is not too bulky at the sides.

I'm a tall, well-built male with a caffeine habit, so yeah, I boost - and the diapers are already thick. It doesn't help my discretion.

I got some from North Shore Care Supply house brand in a large and they work perfect on an Size XL brief but seem to blow out the side gathers on a normal size L brief which caused some leaks. when i buy them again i'll get the size M which should be perfect. The extra absorbency is amazing and extends the wear time by just changing the pad.

I love the Total Dry booster. Its soft, comfortable and adsorbes a lot. They are the least expensive when you buy them directly from the company. The largest size almost covers my whole diaper. ?

I always use boosterpads in my diapers

For night time wear, yes otherwise I'll soak through.

I use cloth inserts under my cloth pre-fold diapers. Usually I have two inserts underneath during the day and three at night. On occasion my wife will use a cloth contoured diaper under my prefolds instead. The contours do provide more coverage but for comfort, I prefer simple rectangular inserts.
