I've personally had all genital laser hair removal and more done around 8 years ago with no regrets and love it. I understand why some may prefer bald to natural or somewhere in between.I would still prefer my Sub or Dom to be all smooth, especially for any oral or pentration activities. I think it depends on the type of scene but of course it can always get removed if it interfere with exams or searches etc
