Some years ago my wife and I researched chastity belts for her. All we saw was either some kind of "play" devices, which could not be worn for a whole day let alone several days (no possibility to go to the toilet, for instance) or some expensive, custom-fitted, metallic belts. The latter seem a bit hazardous, since a bad fit may mean chafing or even injuries.

At the same time there seem to exist many male chastity devices in materials such as silicone. I read they are reasonably easy to wear, do not cause chafing or allergies etc.

Are there similar female chastity devices?

Note that we do not want something that would prevent access to the genitals if my wife really wanted to access them. Quite the contrary! It would just need to show for sure that the belt had been opened without proper authorization (e.g. some silicone ribbon was cut with scissors). I think this is the proper way to deal with possible emergencies.

What we would like though is:

- masturbation impossible or at least greatly hampered; touching of the clitoris impossible

- no vaginal penetration possible, even a finger

- possibility to pee without making a mess, or at least without making too much of a mess

- ideally possibility to wear during her period, with a pad in the panties of course

- possibility to poop easily (no ribbon or chain over the anus)

- possibility to wash the butt easily

- possibility to wash the genitals at least by bathing in a bidet

- possibility to wear comfortably for one week or longer without chafing or other problems.

Your list contains several mutually exclusive wishes.

Switchable, I never said that the anus should not be "playable". Since we have a requirement that she should be able to poop and wipe easily, we simply cannot ensure chastity of the backdoor. ;-)

Of course, the device will be peed upon. Still, it might be washed in the bidet, or by using the shower (we have a shower head on flexible pipe, as is the custom in France).

I never said she could wear a tampon, which would require access to the vagina (if a tampon can be safely inserted and withdrawn, a finger can). A pad is worn in the panties. It seems possible to have a device on the vagina, with holes such that menstruation flow would get out and into the pad.

I would like something that does not prevent access in case of an emergency or other problem (so no unbreakable lock) but where unauthorized access would leave a mark. This is very common in business: one puts seals on containers etc. The seals don't prevent opening the container, but show for sure it has been open.

I realize silicone is flexible, but it can be reinforced. I do not want something that's foolproof, but something that would make touching herself cumbersome and unsatisfying.

This is a matter of control so she knows who is in charge of her genitalia. This is a game and a test of one's mettel and ability to deal with adversity just like any other involving power exchange.

I'm surprised by your remark. I've lived in the US and remember seeing sanitary pads on sale in drugstores. Some women don't tolerate tampons, some don't like using them, and some younger girls just cannot use them due to a tight hymen.

Switchable, I would certainly not use an "iron clad" device, any more that I don't want to use handcuffs that would not have some kind of emergency unlock mechanism (and anyway we don't use handcuffs at all, not our kind of things). There are so many things that can go wrong. Anything strong worn on the body that cannot be removed without much effort is, I think, a risk. What if she was injured by the metal? What if she developed a rash? How about a vaginal infection while wearing the device?

What she wanted was a form of harmless punishment, highly embarrassing with invisible to others, and at the end a kind of proof that she had been a "good girl" and had abstained from self-abuse.

I suspect you will need to fashion a custom device yourself. I would start with a sheet of silicone and start trimming and perforating. You'll need to come up with some kind of belt or harness to attach it to.

The part that is likely to give you the most trouble is making it loose enough to get a pad in during periods, yet not so loose that the can't get a finger into her vagina. That gets back to Susie's original response that some of the requirements may be mutually exclusive.

I just think that the first thing your wife needs to do is figure out whether chastity in itself turns her on, which is fairly common in both males and females. Or, on the other hand, whether she actually feels guilty about masturbation and having fantasies. It is healthy to explore a kink as long as one explores it safely, but it cannot be healthy to feel guilt about masturbation. I am no therapist, but I believe she should accept masturbation and fantasies as part of herself, just as masturbation and fantasies are part of everyone. In addition to my hypothesis that labia piercings would be more comfortable and stimulating than a belt, I would also like to add something about the "non-metallic" request- I think that surgical-grade stainless steel is supposed to be the safest and cleanest material to use, when used properly. So that may be the best bet even though it can technically be considered "metallic." It's other metals that often have properties that irritate skin. If your wife would rather use a belt, or try a belt first to experiment with chastity before getting piercings, there are a few manufacturers of one that looks like this one, but this company looks like the best in terms of options and ergonomics/comfort. I think you can even get this with a key sealed onto the belt, so that the wearer can open it if she ever needs to. You will know that it has been opened because the seal must be broken to access the key.

Pecan, PANTY LINES are visible. You think you can have a chastity belt not be noticeable unless she is wearing a very loose flowing dress? Even then, if she bends over, the outlines and bulk of a chastity belt (NOT the belt itself) would still be seen underneath her clothing.

If wearing BLACK the chastity belt maybe hidden enough but go to WHITE - grey - or a pastel and you are not going to be hiding much at all. The VPL of the chastity belt be it leather metal or something space age is not going to be concealed ! The locking apparatus may also reveal itself depending on where the locks are located. Some belts have locks at the waist just below the belly button and another in a sliding sleeve about 6 inches below that. There may be a lock in the crotch bottom area to hold accessories (plugs) and perhaps another in the center back sliding sleeve. Some designs use chains around the buttocks securing the sides to the waist. The eye appeal of the smooth crotch is going to be disrupted with the unnatural contours of the construction of the belt ever if they are bikini or brief designed. No the only way to wear a chastity belt and conceal it well is by wearing something bulky or a "A" frame skirt with pleats or enough material to camo it. H C: Let me explain the situation. My wife proposed some rules, which I agreed to, about what masturbation is admissible or not in our couple. She violated her own rules and felt that some discipline was needed.

She proposed that I should lock her in a chastity belt for some time period, including when I would leave on business trips. Normally her rules allow her to masturbate while I'm away, but she wanted to be disciplined. The punishment would be felt in two ways: not being able to touch herself, and feeling the "thing" day and night to remind her she'd been a bad girl.

So essentially she does not feel guilty about masturbation per se, she feels she wants discipline for not respecting her own rules. We see three reasons against the labia piercings.

H C: Sorry but we simply do not like the idea of piercings in general and of piercings "down there" in particular. We simply seek some kind of middle ground between the sex-shop play "chastity belts" that can be worn only during a scene, and some full-blown metallic belt. We're surprised there does not seem to be any device similar to some of the male ones.

This has no solution.

I've seen pictures of a simple homemade device consisting of large gauge yellow plastic chain. One loop around her waist and one length down between her legs. A simple padlock in front and back secured the chain in place. The waist chain sized to prevent her from pulling it down over her hips, and the crotch chain sized for your desired snug fit.

While it does not completely prevent access, it does work as a substantial reminder to her state of lockdown. Part of the challenge was dealing with having to hide the bulk of it all when selecting daily outfits. While masterbating is not completely prevented, she would have a snug chain pulled against her clit, reminding her of the situation.

Pulling the crotch chain slightly to the side allowed for tampons and pooping, probably followed by a shower for cleaning. The key could be sealed in an envelope which could be accessed in case of emergency, leaving proof of the access.

This might be an easy place to start, allowing her to feel locked up, and constantly reminded of its presence. She may discover that being shaved bare and keeping the chain lubed is more comfortable. While not trying to be painful, the whole concept is rooted in a slight bit of discomfort, inconvenience, and invasion of personal space. I would certainly take her to the hardware store and have her select the chain and the padlocks. Having her pay for them at the checkout will be good for her commitment to the device and the close relationship she will develop with it.
