Seeing someone getting circumcised

I'm surprised that the docs can't numb the area with swabs, the way they do at the dentist before injections in the gum. You would think they would have come up with a less painful way after all these thousands of years. I still think it's pretty barbaric.

And as some mentioned should be the prerogative of the child when they are old enough to decide for themselves.

No I have not seen an actual circumcision but I did see the result on my cousin shortly after he had been done

Well my two cents worth here. I have seen my son get circumcised a few days after he was born and he doesn't remember it . I don't remember any pain involved when I was circumcised as a baby boy either. The medical benefit as established by the practice seems reasonable to me. I had a wife that had real trouble getting off and it was because of a hooded clit. When our first child was born the doctors removed part of the Hood to expose the clit to make climax a lot easier for her. In FACT it certainly did!

But lets get to the real story behind male circumcision: This guy named David was horny for his main squeeze but the daddy didn't want them to marry because David was not good enough to be in the family of a King. This was King Saul in the 1st Samuel chapter 15 or 18 or thereabout. So Saul ordered 100 foreskins from a neighboring tribe and send David to fetch them in order to get the hand of Michal. This marks the first time that a gay marriage was sanctioned by a king, as David went and killed 200 men just to get a double order of foreskins and gave King Saul his 100 order and kept the other 100 for his honeymoon celebration where He and Michal feasted upon the french-fried foreskins of the unlucky philistine men who went on the chopping block to satisfy the appetite of the King from another tribe. This really caused a rift in the entire area when the word got out of the King invading another tribal area to harvest foreskins. IN fact all the tribes in that area are STILL fighting each other over hunting rights for foreskins! They all blame Israel for taking the best hunting area and well........I guess I don't need to catch all you folks up on the holy wars that are fought today and all sides have forgotten what they were even fighting over........but I need not fill you in on the hole-y word. At my age I'm a little rusty on the recall of exactly how the events took place but I'm close enough....anyway, the pissing contest is less messy without foreskins getting in the way....so it is written, so shall it be-ith.

Working as a technologist in the town’s hospital, I spent a couple of years in the urology department with access to the teaching operating room, from which it was possible to follow the operations together with students. I remember dozens of operations performed on the genitals of adult patients, some of them actual circumcisions using sleeve resection techniques with removal of the frenulum. I was curious and fascinated, but in general the sight of this type of operation disturbs me, particularly in the early stages when the patient is being prepared, is naked and exposed to the light of the surgical lamp, and his body shows all the signs of fear and embarrassment.
