Depends on what you want ? Snap-Ons are nice if you don'nt want 2 remove all of your clothes when changing plastic pants. But you may have leaks at the seam where the snaps are,pull-on's keep all the wetness if any inside the pants

Same for me. Snap on during the day when I am clothed and at work, and pull on for around the house and at night.

Hi, I use both but the pullons won't leak if you wet too much as will the snapons.

I only use the pull on plastic pants. To me the snap type do not make sense as they have a large chance of leaking. I wear plastic pants to minimize leaking.

I always wear plastic pants over my diapers. I do have 2 pairs of plastic pants with ruffles on them. I wear them around the house in the summer time when its warm enough to go with out pants.

Does anyone remember a product called "Sanitary Panties"? They were intended to be used with the old style belted menstrual pads. They were usually made of a fairly heavy nylon material and had a rubber or vinyl crotch panel the went quite high in both the front and back. They usually had tabs or clips for attaching a menstrual pad. and were quite common into about the 1970's.

They pretty much vanished from the market after the self adhesive pads became more popular.

It seems to me that they would be ideal for those who use the Poise or other Incontinence pads. The rubberized crotch would stop minor leaks, and give added protection without having to use a plastic panty.

Thanks for the link. Those are the closest to the ones I described above. The older style were designed to be quite snug and made out of a heavy non-stretch nylon fabric. I'm not sure if the stretchy cotton fabris would feel the same.

I have bought plastic pants from B4NS and they have good products, and reasonable prices. But, I didn't see those "sanitary panties" last time I was on the site.

I was thinking about this. With all the different textures plastic pants come in, the different feeling of the plastics. What is your favorite, do you like thick hard plastic pants with not much give and crackle, or soft smooth rubbery like ones that don't make much noise, or thin textured Gerber like ones? There are so many different kinds, give what ever you like and explain. I like them all, and always try different ones, but I think I would have to say I like thick stiff smooth but noise kind the most.

I like my Comco nursery print plastic pants(I have a pair on now). They fit real well and hold up well. The best part is that they are very loud and crackly. I also have on a pair of Babykins terry lined plastic pants too.

I love to wear very thick cloth diapers from Bear Bottoms in Canada. I also use several soakers so I need a full plastic pant. I use Comco and have recently bought 8 pais of plastic pants from Angel Fluff. I love them thick and noisy as well.

I have to agree about B4NS. They have a good selection of styles, good service and reasonable prices.

Since I'm more into the DL or convenience side of diapers, I prefer relatively plain plastic pants that fit well, and are snug enough at the legs and waist to prevent leaks, but not so tight as to be uncomfortable.

I made my own plastic pants when I was young, kind of. I would buy two pairs of toddler size, glue and sew the bigger backs parts together to make one bigger pair that could fit me.

I prefer the gerber type pant or the medium weight pants from babykins. I also use velcro on diaper covers, those are great for confort and a quick change. 😃

I always wear plastic pants when I wear diapers. I love the way they feel and sound. They are good for preventing those embarrassing leaks when wearing a disposable. I wear 2 or more pairs when going to bed too.

I couldn't think of going without my plastic panties, or rubber pants as mom called them. Don't matter what diaper you choose. And I think if you use disposables, a pair of terrylined plastic pants is just the thing to stop those leaks. If there is a leak the terrycloth will soak up the wetness and the plastic pants will keep everything dry. Tip # 12 😁

Same here, in the early 60's mostly plastic pants were used, unless they were hand me downs, because by the 50's latex or rubber was out. I always knew my plastic pants as rubber pants though, due to mom's knowing them as such.
