Expired Viagra samples

Guys so I'm looking through some boxes in my closet for something and I find that unrelated item that I haven't seen in a while (like that when that happens ) or even thought about looking. Viagra,yup! I had gotten some many years ago let's say 5 years ago plus. I have been debating to take one,researched online allover the place. Seen mixed reviews yet the majority says it's ok. Harvard Medical even suggest it's ok well passed the expire date. (I have a few links to share to follow the idea)

I have two left at 25mg or 50mg off the top of my head I can't remember as they aren't in front of me. Anyway I never had the huge major side effects that came with it even on high blood pressure Meds I was okay. I have thought about calling the pharmacy and ask but sure they will be covering their ass and say NO not a good idea. Think the same with calling the number on the pharmaceutical company probably same answer. Or maybe not. So what to do?? Anyone else have experienced this?

Yup. If they've been stored in a climate controlled dark environment, they're likely just fine, especially in the intact blister pack. If they're not OK, the potency has diminished. That could be a problem for life saving medications like blood pressure medication or antibiotics, but not so much for viagra, it just won't work as well. They don't turn into poison.

JDS4md yup that's what I keep reading and yup blister foil packets. And I see now they expired 4/2008? ? Still okay? Will 25mg even be worth the potency equal to anything? Or would 50mg give the closet effects

They're fine.

PROBABLY, if stored properly, you won't experience a difference from brand new. If you kept them in the car glove box, all bets are off.

Light, heat and humidity are the enemies of pills.

As jds stated, the pills are fine.

For some reason (probably pharmacist lobbying) the expiration dates on drugs has gotten shorter and shorter over the years without any real reason.

If the pills are stored near room temperature (not in a hot garage or attic) they will be fine as long as the pill looks like an intact pill.

Thanks everyone for your input. Even after expire date of 4/2008 I will still try one at 25mg. See what happens and report back. But don't hold your fingers on the refresh button for this update. We haven't had the privacy or time lately between work and college now keeps her busy. But I will report. lol

I'm between urologists now, so I've been stocking up and accumulating enough to last me for 18 months to 2 years. (They give me a great deal.)

I'm gonna try again to order from the outlet that has my prescription-- I may be able to reorder 2 months from now.

It's going to work as well as the day the pill was manufactured.
