Hi, I am new but hope I can be of help here.
I am currently trying the hypnosis/subliminal cd.I hav only had this a couple of days so I'll let you all know month by month if I make any progress.I can also do self hypnosis but never woke up wet this way so far.
I am pretty good at lucid dreaming (knowing you are dreaming then being able to do things you want in the dream. I have tried peeing in the dream when I know I need to go. This is really weird because--in the dream I feel like I have relieved myself but yet still feeling the need to go, then wakeup
later having not actually done so.
Most of my proper wetting accidents have happened after a drinking binge. I even drank wine at home listening to music waking up with wet jeans and sofa. That was a shock!
I do not recommend drinking alcohol,I am trying to stop.
I do not have much trouble wetting in bed on purpose now because I am more confident nowadays,that the nappies and plastic pants do keep the bed dry so eventually I think it will lead to waking up wet and not remembering wetting intentionally.This has happened once or twice now.
This maybe is the key---being confident in the protection used!
Putting a mattress pad under the sheets helps your confidence too.Its like when you have a new car and you drive gingerly at first until you get to know its limits.
I do not think I will lose control---but lose memory and awareness a possibility.
