Would you give up diapers to be babied?

For discussion's sake, let's say that you had to choose between a life that included diapers (say with a wife who would be ok with diapers and whatever you wanted to do with them, but not baby you in any way and who wouldn't let anyone else baby you) or that included babying except for diapers (say with a wife who'd be happy to baby you in every other way, but swore by "elimination communication" or for some other reason would never accept recreational diaper use, even in secret). ABDLs can opt for a mommy, daddy, couple, or any team, except that they would all be on the same side of the decision; diapers OR babyhood. Also for discussion's sake, let's say you couldn't have them both: Diapers but no babying, or babying but no diapers.

Across the wide diversity of the ABDL community, diapers are the closest thing we have to being something that we all have in common. However, they aren't universally important. I'd like to get to know more of the exceptional ABDLs to avoid overgeneralizing.

Obviously, this question isn't that hard for DLs. While they might not be eager to give up the option for roleplay, they'd choose diapers over babyhood. I'm eager to learn more about the ABs who would give up diapers for babyhood.

To broaden the question, I'll provide two more options. For the caregivers, there'll be the option to be caregivers to their choice of ABDL/little/etc instead of getting diapers or being babied themselves. For the non-ABDL ageplayers, there'll be the option of having a caregiver who would treat them as a child, but with neither diapers nor babyhood. Those of the DL, caregiver, and non-ABDL ageplayer aren't wrong answers by any measure - there are no wrong answers. However, it might be more interesting to focus in the choice that isn't covered by an established paradigm.

So, would you give up diapers to be babied?

I don't know if I really get the point, but I will try and give some sort of an insight of my own, for whatever it might be worth.

First, I want both! Diapers, and the option to play at baby, be treated as such, so on. That said, and to the actual choice, it would be, diapers. I am AB/DL, or consider myself most easily defined under that heading. I have other baby, sissy, adult child related interests, but for simplicity, that heading works. The underling thread for me though, is having diapers. So, my choice to go only with diapers, is a quick clear cut choice.

There have been many times, when I did play at other things, which didn't involve diapers. And these were, non sexual, play type fantasies. (Although, with respect to psycho analysis of such things, sex being why we do everything.) They did not involve a direct sexual encounter. Some of these happen way back in childhood also.

I may have staid from the topic a bit, but my point here is simply, that I have and can play without diapers. I would here and, at this point choose not to.

Giving up nappies is not an option for me as I'm incontinent.

No I will never give up my cloth diapers.i told my wife over thity years ago I was in diapers,before we married she accepted it then and now I need them more than ever.she no longer baby's me.but its now part of my medical record that I beed them.she still doen't mind and i'll wear till I die.

Being babied you would still be diapered

I could never give up wearing diapers and rubber pants and using them to go potty. I'm not into much in the way of AB life but I do enjoy sucking my thumb, pacis, an occasional bottle and being breastfed. More importantly I love when my wife or MIL changes my diapers. My wife has been changing me since we moved in together. I had never had a woman do that before without paying for it since I left home for good around 24. I do feel like a child when she changes me, but I also usually get hard, have erections when she does, and we often use that time to become intimate and enjoy each other's bodies. But I could give all that up as long as I could continue to wear diapers and rubber pants openly around the house, around family and when we go out and wet myself anytime I have the urge.

I'am not a ad the reason for me being in diapers is her for wetting the bed so no funny stuff.

I love my nappies and plastic pants and feel very babyish when wearing them but could probably do without the baby bottles and baby food which I some times use. But I would find it quite hard to do without the baby dresses and frilly baby pants as that is a big thing for me

Being dependent on my aides and diapers , there’s no choice here . My everyday required care is the same as a baby only difference I am a full size adult so everything is much bigger .

What people commonly associate as being “ babbled “ is nothing more then the care required by any living thing that can not do it themselves . I don’t necessarily feel babied as much as I feel my needs being met , I also don’t need to cry or fuss to communicate something changed , I just have to ask if my aide isn’t already anticipating what I need and getting it ready .
