Butt plug harness or girdle?

What do you guys and gals think will do a better job of preventing a butt plug from falling out? I am looking in a easy way to insert a large size plug and leave it inside for training (stretching) purpose, but I have to hold it in place all the time with my hand, as my body try, and succeed, to push it out.

I was first thinking to get a girdle, since regular underwear doesn't work. I have never tried this, and when I googled I found out about the special made harnesses. I also might need the 'support" when wearing plugs in public, so a girdle might be better?

What are your thoughts or experiences?

Girdles are good. The harnesses get uncomfortable, not unlike a thong for the ladies as some of them really don't like them for that reason. Another thing you might try is a jock strap. Just put it on backward. It will hold your plug and leave you freedom in front. If you do try a girdle try and find one that has a rather narrow crotch piece that fits up between your legs better. Some girdles are kind of wide and pinch or chafe if you wear one very long. It may mess with your "junk" but it will hold the plug very well. Spanx also makes some really stretchy panty girdles that seem to work pretty well and are quite comfortable. A girdle might also help shape you a bit. lol Try one, you might like it.

I've tried a couple Spanx that have split crotches, and one that I simply cut out the crotch. They all worked reasonably well.

There are probably some retro girdles still available that are more severe/secure.

There's too much personal preference at play here, so you'll just have to try a few...

Go to eBay and get a long leg or boy leg panty girdle. If you get the correct size, with no split crotch, you'll have a good way to keep your plug in. Been doing it for years!

Erwin, since I work with all men I have never been a big fan of wearing female underwear for that reason. with that said here is my suggestions.

Now the plus of this harness is, real soft leather and will become even more soft over time but there is a way to speed that up. Get you some NON oily skin moisturizer and rub the harness down with that and just let it dry then repeat if need be. Unlike oils this will not change the color nor make it oily, the plug holder itself may need to be done a few times since it will rub your butt cheeks. Now the next thing you will need to do is change out the cock ring that come with it for a larger one, my suggestion on that is a 2.5 or a 3.0". The one that comes with it is a 2.0". Also if this will be your first time using a cock ring you may try a silicone or rubber one first. Let's keep you out of the E.R. I used a 5-snap leather cock strap until my steel one came.

Thanks BJ55, and nope I have not used metal cockrings, I did use a rubber once. Currently the girdle is only for inside use, to keep the large toy inside for stretching purpose, so I don't have to keep using my hand to keep it in. It just keeps sliding out. 😢

Have had the same issue but not done anything about it yet. Posts on another topic indicated that some butt plugs did not have this problem-NuJoy and one other. Since those alternatives were expensive, I decided to wait. Is there any consensus among experienced users?

I've never had a problem with a plug "falling out", just make sure you use a plug with a good neck (e.g. Tantus Severine), but Rago shapewear gives that extra reassurance!

I am training for wider size,, and therefore I Like to keep the shaft in for longer times, not so much the plug as it is narrow at the base to stay in. I definitely think that the key is finding the right sort of plug. Something with a decent difference between head and neck is key I'd say.

My husband and I both have leather harnesses that hold both anal and in my case vaginal probes. You can look at male chastity belts that will hold the butt plug in but the idea of a girdle is great. You may want to look at Spandex workout pants, they work well also and easier to get at any sporting goods store and most department stores.
