I saw a report on line quite some time ago and it stated that a large percentage, I do not recall the exact number I think it was about 40%, of homosexual men did not engage in anal sex.

I found that very interesting. I realize there are many other ways to have sexual contact with another person other than intecourse but, I was curious to know if this statement was accurate or not.

Is any one here able/willing to lend any credence to that report?

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS SIMPLY A QUESTION ABOUT SOMETHING I READ AND NOT AN ATTEMPT TO EXPOSE OR EMBARASS ANYONE IN ANY WAY!!!!!!!

I also think it's wrong to lump gay and anal sex in the same box. I have a gay couple in my circle of acquaintances who always object to discussions about anal sex and have no interest in it. It's an old stereotype that gay and anal go together, and that stereotype is wrong. Being gay means loving each other as men, kissing and exchanging caresses. There are just as many sexual practices between them as there are with other couples. I describe myself as heteroflexible. I have no feelings of love towards other men and would never kiss another man. But there's something about sucking a nice cock once in a while, and anal sex with both sexes is great for me.

Well aside from the existence of homoromantic, asexual people who enjoy relationships without the need for sex.

If grindr is anything to go by a LOT of men who have sex with men really like to give oral, specially of the giving head variety.

Many of those same men probably also enjoy anal but the amount of people I see focusing on oral with little to no mention of anal easily would account for the 40% figure.

If you feel comfortable with someone anal is great feels awesome.Guess the stigma stops some people or they think it's dirty.But bottom line do what makes you happy
