As my incontinence due to BPH is progressing I notice I wake up damp every day. At first I thought it was sweat but it's not. A few times I tried no pad or other protection and I wake up damp and with a 3-5" spot on my underwear and sleep shorts. I haven't completely soaked myself in many years.

I was wondering if this has happened or is happening to you. Also did you eventually full on wet yourself at night? I'm trying to prepare my self if that is the case.

Bedwetters, my brothers, and sisters in arms OOPS, I mean diapers. I too soak my diapers nightly and love the results of waking wet. Unfortunately, I had to lose my prostate to attain full incontinence.

Mom had a little test to see if my diapers at night were sufficient for bedwetters. She would diaper me in just cloth diapers only to see if they had enough absorbency. I was not incontinent in those days so I would be instructed to wet myself. Until Mother Nature provided I got to wander the house in a diaper and two diaper pins.

Mother Nature never fails and soon I would be in a soaked diaper and usually a puddle under me. Mom would step up the absorbency by adding more padding to my diaper change. Mom teasingly would ask me if I needed my plastic panties and laugh while cleaning up the puddle with my used diaper.

Most of my adult life the only time I would only wet the bed if I was extremely intoxicated. But as I matured that slowly went from being extremely intoxicated to just a little buzzed. Now I'm to the point that if I have one drink I had better be diapered. For that reason I started wearing almost every night. But now that I'm in my 60s I have had an occasional night where I have not had anything to drink, have slept the entire night and woke up with a wet diaper. If I could get a good night's sleep without waking up but the trade-off is having to be diapered I'm okay with that.

I wasn't a bedwetter as a child and became a diaper lover around 27~28 years old. The love for diapers through the years made me search for everything diaper-related on Internet. Since I discovered people sharing their experiences on some places, like here on Zity or the old Experience Project or blogs (anywhere I could find), I became fascinated by bedwetters experiences! So many stories from guys that were bedwetters in the childhood until their teens, many already choosing to wet the bed on purpose since then and others choosing to wet in the future, as adults. And some that achieved success in becoming bedwetters again and never regret it! I needed to become a bedwetter!

I did everything I could, read every tip, but I never became able to sleep in a wet bed. After trying for years and in different periods of my life, I gave up. Maybe because I wasn't a bedwetter as a child I couldn't have success becoming one as adult. I'll never feel the joy of waking up wet from the toes to the head after a full night sleep. What a dream!

I'm not a bedwetter, but I love bedwetters stories! This post is to bring this page back, in the hope of people share new bedwetters confessions. I love to read everything about it!

I've had several episodes of bedwetting in my life. Early on it was plastic sheets to protect the mattress. I borrowed my fair share of goodnights from my younger brother when I was a teen. In college I bought packs of adult diapers. When I was living on my own I would spend days at a time in diapers. For nearly 6 months straight I was wearing diapers to bed. I had a handful of nights that I would wet the bed. It was thrilling to wake up like that. In my current adult life I've had probably 20 bedwetting episodes. It ranges from a single night to 5 nights. It might be a spurt or a full soaking of myself. My wife isn't a fan of diapers. She also hates wet sheets. Currently I use a cloth style pull on brief with a single insert for protection. If I wet it's easy to wash. For periods of extended wetting or heavy wetting I've used a pull on plastic pant over the top to prevent any leaking. I've also wore a thick disposable diaper under the plastic pant. I really like megamax. If I travel I always wear disposable diapers. If I'm home alone at night I'll wear a disposable. I really like wearing diapers to be honest. There's a major disparity between actual wetting accidents and intentional wetting. I don't prefer to wet the cloth on purpose. If I'm wearing a disposable I'm going to use it. If I'm traveling I'll wear as much as possible.

Lifelong nightly bedwetter that have lived in thick pin on cloth diapers with plastic pants forever. Added quality disposables for daytimes almost 20 years ago. Hated bedwetting and being made to wear diapers to bed when I was younger and unfortunately could have really enjoyed that time as well. I’ll never be out of diapers again.

Although I have incontinence, I always wake up due to bladder spasms. I truly wish I could experience a full night's rest like many of the bedwetters here. Throughout my life, I have never had an uninterrupted night's sleep. You have a gift that you might not realize. Nowadays, I wake up more than three times each night just before the spasms begin. If I could choose, I would prefer to be a true bedwetter rather than deal with the challenges of an overactive bladder caused by neurogenic bladder dysfunction. I must admit, I feel a sense of envy. I long to sleep through the night like those without any bladder dysfunction.

Let me do my part in keeping this thread alive.

I’m not an active bedwetter, but I sure was throughout my childhood and well into my teens. So much so that mom put me back in soft thick cloth diapers and plastic panties when I was around 10/11. She continued to diaper me nightly until I was about 16. Gosh I loved it once I got past a week’s worth of embarrassment. Neither my older sister or younger brother had to wear diapers past potty training, I was the fortunate one.

Now that I’m older and experiencing incontinence, I’ve been using pads and pull-ups, I just started wearing adult diapers (why do they call them briefs?), still nice and soft and I am reminded of the comfort, security and protection I felt when mom diapered me.

The last couple nights, since wearing these diapers, I have been able to stay in bed and pee into the diaper instead of getting out of bed. So maybe I am an active bedwetter.
