More and more evidence is surfacing about cancer treatment (in general, not just in the colon) whereby coffee enemas have a profound positive effect. The reasoning is that the liver has the ability to promote immunity - resistance to many diseases including cancer. And by detoxifying the liver, it is enabled to focus on the job of fighting disease. At least, that is what proponents like Drs Nicholas Gonzalez, Gerson et al propose/d. Lots of arguments flying between "alternative" and mainstream health practitioners on this point.
I believe there is enough evidence today to suggest that there might really be something in it. Mainstream healthcare tries to fight it tooth and nail, because there is no money for them to be made from this type of treatment. They would like us to buy prescription medications, especially chemotherapy drugs (in the case of cancer) which have a statistical failure rate of 97%. Kinda shocking, but who cares? As long as the doc prescribes, we're safe, no?
From my own experience, I have started to develop little skin lesions on my forearms due to too much sun exposure in my youth. Typical older man's skin full of spots 'n dots. A dermatologist described these as "pre-cancerous", which, if left untreated would probably develop into basal cell carcinomae. Quite treatable, but if occurring near bone can become life-threatening. Yeah, yeah, I thought, postponed any treatment until I eventually pushed it out of my mind. Then I started coffee enemas about a year ago as a test for my own health, not even thinking about the spots on my arms. But I noticed that within 6 months of doing the coffee enemas, the lesions were gone. Absent. Kaput. Almost miraculous.
Coincidence? Dunno, but I'm sold. If it can do this for stuff on one's skin, I would hazard a guess that it would probably work (either preventatively or curatively) in the gut itself.
