My favorite scrubs are the lie and green typical hospital kind, most authentic. For masks I prefer tie on, duckbill, and the ones with a faceshield attached.
My new favorite is deep black scrubs. Because, I was at the Docs last week anda an unbelievably cute young lady wearing said color ushered me into the exam room.I had a smile on my face the rest of the day.
I can't say I really have a preferred color, whether for myself or as a patient being examined by a provider IRL or play exam. I've had navy blue and grey scrubs amongst using other scrubs of various types, and recently bought some mandala scrubs in olive and truffle.
I saw an old pic of a young woman who needed to wear an old blue cone style procedure mask (maybe Medline or similar) at her college due to a peanut allergy. I grew up with those sometimes being used for patient isolation. I still like them. But I can't find them in black, which seems to be the popular color for a mask now. Missed opportunity for Medline, methinks (though I do like the thicker black N95s with the extra elastic band, too, like Moldex makes. It's just not precisely the same).
My general preference for scrubs is either green or blue. In real life I actually had an appointment with a surgeon and he wore his scrubs in the office, so, I was fine with that!!
Love the traditional green!! But also really into dark scrubs, like black, navy, and maroon. Seeing white latex gloves against a dark colored scrub just gets me going. I also tend to prefer blue masks, no clue why!
