Has anybody seen family members getting auscultated

As i assist my mother and sister for their doctor visit ,they have been auscultated several times infront of me.they have been auscultated in bra,with clothes on.what is the degree of undressing in other countries

in Germany, women are normally stethed with their bra on. If they don't wear one, of course, naked breasts !

According to what female friends and Girl friends tell and told me so far, they mostly are stethoscoped with bra on - but with exceptions. Some told me, that they had to take off their bra at the cadiologist's. Others, big breasted ones, said, that they had to take off the bra and then lie down on the back so that their breasts fall aside to have Access to the auscultation Points of the heart. But I think, in 90 % of normal medical exams, they may Keep the bra on.

In Play exams, that is totally different, of course! I prefer starting auscultattion with (sexy) bra on (because I've got a very severe, sexual bra fetish too :-), then during stething pull down the bra, first sztraps, slowly unhook it in the back, Holding it under the breasts for a while, gliding down, then stething completely without bra, lifiting her arms abov the head (like in a good Strip tease) - and after stething a Long and thorough breast Palpation...

That's what's usual practise in Germany (as far as I can judge it) - and what we do, and we love it like this a lot!!!

BTW: I once had the Chance to watch the Little sister of my Girl friend being stethed t o p l e s s !!! (70 C bra size!) I'll never Forget this Event. I still get a hurting hard on when I recall it !

The closet to a family member was a cousin when we were at boarding school

As a child myself and my two older sisters were always taken to the doctors by our mother and examined together. I've seen both of them auscultated over the years. I have also seen my wife auscultated a few times.

My sister and me were always taken to the dr. together. Examined one after the other, not at the same time, though. In 6th grade I started wearing a bra but didn't wear it that year b/c I did not want the dr. to see it. I was humiliated b/c my breasts were just beginning and I didn't want him to see that either. He did examine them a bit though. Hated him. That year he also checked our private parts, never had that either.

At the risk of sounding callous, would you please establish your reason for believing that your doctor overstepped his bounds by examining your genitals? I ask this only because I can never recall a time when my genitals weren't examined at the pediatrician. When I contemplate retrospectively, I completely understand why those vexatious exams needed to be performed. However, at the time I found them to be utterly deplorable.

Well, we were both very young, I might have been a girl of five, my sister twelve. It was a housecall, as we were both sick with some sort of cold. Our pediatrist - an older woman - had her office nearby, so she dropped by. I only remember my sister standing by the chair in the sunlit livingroom, breathing deeply while the doctor auscultated her back. It was both peaceful yet strangely exciting scene to me.

As a child, I would be with my mother in the exam room as she was examined. I remember her being auscultated, both front and back. She was a very large woman, and would take big, heaving breaths for the lung exam. Her doctor, an older Polish man, would then have her hold her breath periodically for the heart exam. I remember getting excited for it to be my turn, and would do just as my mother did, especially loving holding my breath for the heart exam.

I attend almost all of the appointments my mom has. After her first cancer diagnosis, followed by surgery and chemo, she has suffered something generally referred to as "chemo brain", a type of brain fog. She relies on me to remember various things about her current health and history. She never knows when the brain fog is going to strike, or how or what information may or may not be available for memory recall. The "chemo brain fog" is sporadic and mild for her. I know many cancer patients who experience this at various degrees from various forms of cancer treatments. The additional cancers we have luckily found early enough to avoid any chemo, bioimmunotherapy or radiation treatments.

No, I don't find it arousing to watch my mom receive exams. I am there to listen, observe and remember what is important. She and use many of the same providers.

Side note; Am I pro or con for the above mentioned treatments? I believe it is a decision that the patient, family and physicians involved decide on per all the available information and options are investigated as well as what the patient does or does not want to happen to them.

Yes, at the family doctor I saw my parents got steth exams when I was younger.

I remember when I was about 6 getting examined with my sister, and the doctor giving her a go on the stethoscope and me not getting one. Even at that age I was too scared/sensitive to ask. Shame!
