I want to get to a point where I can wear my thin latex hood under my sensory deprivation hood. Does anyone have a good suggestion/ comment as to how to best prepare for that? Gradual attempts, slowly increasing time? Thanks.

Do it by yourself without anyone around. Just put the heavy leather hood on and leave it on for as long as you can. One of my favorite hoods has a chain that locks the hood on around your neck so you cannot pull it off and will restrict your breathing because it has only small holes on top of your head. DON'T LOCK IT ON by yourself because you will NOT be able to unlock it and free your self--you will be unable to see anything. Just pull the hood on and leave it there.

Get used to the claustrophobia.

I won't go into it at any length right now, but as some of you know I'm a lifelong rubber/latex lover and have/had a number of thin latex hoods in addition to other rubber wear like catsuits, gloves, stockings, gags, etc. I use various pieces very frequently during masturbation to help my flagging erections and orgasms to fruition. I have a few rubber hoods I use and I must say the feeling is exquisite. Having the hood totally enclose your head just adds another dimension to full body bondage.

I had a hood which was fairly cheap and just pulled on. Sadly it didn't last very long, but that's what you get with buying cheap!

I have a much better made hood with a rear zipper, open mouth and nose and translucent eyes. This also has two small D-rings on either side of the base of the zip where it can be locked on with a padlock. Very erotic hearing that click and knowing you are locked into it.

I also have a zip up hood with eye, nose and mouth holes. I use this in conjunction with various head harnesses, posture collars and gags. One of our leather hoods has extra padding over the eyes and ears and perforations for breathing holes over the mouth. The hood laces up the back for a good form fitting and has two rubber air bladders with inflation bulbs, one on each side to equalize the pressure for a good tight fit.

It's very yummy and highly recommended for training people who HAVE claustrophobia. Muwahahahaha! 😈 😈 😈

Thanks. I really love latex hoods and use them a lot for the tightness, the smell (!!!), and sometimes the built-in blindfold effect (no eye holes on some). My ex used to tell me how much she liked putting me in hoods, especially the one in which I couldn't see. I think I'm down to one now as the other 5-6 passed on from many years of use. None locked, but all had rear zippers, and the next ones may be lockable. That's IS such a great sound and feeling when you hear a lock click on the hood. All of mine were from England from Cocoon and lasted maybe 10-12 years.

Susie, I'd enjoy being put in a leather hood I think but though I'd like the leather aroma a lot, it doesn't come across as sexual or arousing like latex does. I can't quite picture the rubber air bladders on yours. Are they over the ears, or above or behind them? I would think a lace-up hood would be pretty easy to lace to make the hood pressure equal all over the head, like a pair of sneakers where you can lace it any way you like to be comfortable.

Lord, for me that's exactly what turns me on to a huge degree. Latex hood plus second hood or gas mask.
