My favourite medical table is Ritter 203. Do a web search, and you'll find plenty of pictures, owner's manuals, and places where yon can buy one. New price appears to be around $700. It is "officially" a medical table, not massage, and I've been to a real medical office (an urgent care place) that had these tables instead of the virtually ubiquitous Ritter 104. I like the simplicity of these tables as compared to the giant metal box, and the length is also a bonus - they are great for lying down fully prone for bum injections and similar procedures.
If I ever get a place where I can build my own clinical facility, I would like to use one of these tables. I'm also considering getting some custom metal furniture manufacturer to make a set of replacement legs (H-brackets, see the owner's manual that shows its construction and all parts) for it, to lower its height. The standard height of this table is 31" (same as the ubiquitous big metal box tables), other height options available from Midmark (the manufacturer) range from 26" to 36", but I want 21", so it becomes more of a bed for sitting or lying down easily, rather than climbing or leaning over. This way it will be exactly like the medical "couches" we had in my home country.
If you are looking to buy a table used (bargain deals), you might also come across a Ritter 303. Confusingly, Ritter 303 is the older model and 203 is the newer (current) one. There are some differences in internal construction, but to the users (both doc and patient) it looks and feels exactly the same. There is just one real difference, though, and it is the rated weight capacity: 325 lbs for Ritter 303 and 400 lbs for Ritter 203. Keep it in mind if you plan on having BBW patients. 😃
