JLube

So I've seen a ton of people that swear by jlube. I've always used ID Glide myself. It was the first lube I tried, and it worked fine so that's what I always got. I pay about $50 a gallon for it, so the $2-4 a gallon jlube yields is very attractive. I play with a lot of large toys and long toys, with the odd fist or two from time to time, and people that love jlube seem to be right in line with that. I've read a bit about it, and I have a few questions.

Is it as difficult to clean up as some people say?

Does it stain fabrics?

Do you mix it on the fly or ahead of time as some sites suggest?

Are there any drawbacks to it?

If you have tried id glide, how does it compare?

It can be a little time consuming to clean, but it does come out. Adding some salt to the cleaning solution will break up the polyethylene oxide polymer that makes j-Lube slippery. I have not had it stain fabrics, but it can take time to remove it. It is MUCH more slippery than ID Glide.

You should mix it a day in advance of using it for the smoothest gel formation. You can mix it easily in a blender. Start with COLD water. In the summer, refrigerated water can be better. Refrigerated is good in the summer because tap water tends to be warmer. Have the blender on a low to medium speed. While it is running, add your pre-measured amount of j-lube powder in a smooth pouring motion over three to five seconds. Do not just drop it in. When you hear the blender start to slow down by the resistance of the j-lube forming its gel stage, it is done. DO NOT over beat in the blender--you will actually be cutting up the polymer molecules and you will lose the slipperiness.

I use an empty and very clean washing up liquid bottle or similar . Just put some powder in say about 2 teaspoons and had about 3/4 inch water shake it up leave it to thicken . Adjust either powder or water .I keep mine in the fridge ready to use it gets nice and thick if left .

Washes out easy clean up but is as slippery as fxxck it gets every where so mind floors.

I play with most of my toys in the bath easy to just rinse the bath to save slipping as you play.

I just received my second bottle of J-Lube, the first having lasted me a year and a half of near daily use.

So here's an anniversary review!

For those who don't know, this comes as a very fine powder consisting of one part powdered polymer, and three parts dispersing agent, which I'm told is a kind of sugar and does attract ants.

If you've followed the microplastics issue, you'll know until recently, cosmetics were filled with plastic microspheres, which many of us now might prefer to avoid. Definitely avoid breathing it!

Lots of people recommend premixing it, which is fine. When I'm ready for some slidy action, I sprinkle a very small amount on my palm add a few drops of water, stir with a finger then apply.

A little goes a long way. I'm often playing with toys in the shower, so there I might use double the amount of powder as for self pleasuring in less wet place.

One of my favorite lingerie items are a pair of filmy white tap pants. In the shower with some J Lube, they become nice and slippery. A lovely distraction or main event!!

How slippery and how long the lubrication lasts really depends on how much water is around. With no help it will get stickier, less fun over time. Of course you can add more premix, but it's mainly water needed at this point. So I just refresh it with some spit or a few drips of water.

Cleanup takes water and rubbing. Using salt made no difference for me.

I live in a damp climate. From repeatedly unscrewing the cap and tapping out a bit of powder the contents of the bottle began to form lumps (easily broken up on the palm.) Also, powder around the threads of the bottle and inside the cap forms a kind of goo that gets dark, sort of unhygienic looking, and attracts ants. Be sure to close it tightly.

To prevent the main stash getting damp I now have a smaller container for daily use that I can clean and refill.

In conclusion, I like and use J Lube daily. It's cheap, works as good or better than other water based lubes.
