I think the patient should be totally naked.... and they should be on their hands and knees. with their butt in the air, exposing their butthole, and genitalia this would give access to the nurse to lube their butthole, and to have they old fashioned glass thermometer inserted. In this position anyone who enters the room will be able to see them getting an RT, and will cause humiliation and embarrassement

For just the temperature taking pulled down is fine for me, especially if the person taking my temperature is handling the process. In an exam they would come off entirely at a later time for the genital and rectal exam and pulling them back up until then would add to the anticipation. I think the only reason to remove them entirely for a rectal temp is if you're to be weighed naked immediately before or after, but a simple pair of underpants would be of such negligible weight that removing them would only really make sense if any variation is unacceptable, the entire exam is to be done naked, or during certain intake procedures where the patient will later be given a gown or scrubs to wear instead.
I wouldn't object if to being naked from the waist down, but normally with pants/underwear down about the knees, usually it was the taker pulling them down
I prefer my panties just to be pulled down. In the perfect scenario, the doctor does this with one hand while the other presses my waist down while I'm bent over the table... mmm so humiliating-exciting
Last night I had mine taken by a home visiting massage therapist. Start with your panties pulled down to your knees and then perhaps the taker doesn't like the reading so it has to be taken again. The retake can be a fully nude temp taking. Having my rectal temperature taken during a play exam I would almost always be naked. It's so much more fun and exciting that way.
If i’m sick, my partner usually takes my temperature under the arm, unless i request otherwise.But when we play, i’m always naked and thermometer is inserted deep in my butt.
