I wish my wife still had all her parts. She lost most of her right labia majora due to vulvar cancer. Be thankful for what god gave you.
I'm so sorry Dozerman, like many here I guess, to hear of your wife's problems. Hopefully they are over now.
I find it sad that so many choose the knife for cosmetic surgery. I'm pretty sure that many for whom such surgery as your wife had would rather it had not been forced upon them. Labiaplasty and other similar surgery is indeed sometimes necessary for genuine health reasons, diagnosed by the medical profession.
However, cosmetic surgery purely to 'improve' the appearance of the vulva region is, in my opinion, a mistake. Protruding inner labia, the labia minora, is most often, but not always, the result of childbearing. I can't think of a more honourable 'badge of honour' for a woman to wear.
Instead, women are often conditioned to try and emulate their sisters in fashionable and sometimes girlie magazines who have, allegedly, perfect vulvas. The cosmetic surgery industry too has much responsibility.
Like the discussion about plus sized women - or their 'skinny' cousins, I think all women are beautiful when their biggest sex organ, the brain, functions well.
As Dozerman says - be thankful..... You never miss what you have until you no longer have it!
