Other than having had some shiatsu performed on me a few times in a (luckily short) period when I had this feeble yet recurrent back pain going from mostly upright to mostly sitting day job, I never had a full body massage until a few years ago.
During a short vacation in a sort of holistic resort in central Italy I was given a whole body massage as part of a wellness pack I received as a welcome reward when I agreed upon playing social evenings and joining the house band as a guest for the Sunday night farewell party. Needless to say I agreed, so I went through the whole weekly schedule of healthful activities. As the therapist went on stretching and pressing my tiny frame from toetips to hairline, it didn't take much to imagine what would have felt like if I had the chance of having an enema administered at the same time... Too bad that happens only witin fiction though: I guess maybe such a notion could have been well understood by quite a few among the small company of enlightened and amiable folks I was sharing my leisure time with. On the other hand, nobody in such a setting would possibly take the toll to cope with the many modesty and legal issues implied. This is exactly what I refer to chatting about the «too early» side of the slope...
Of course, aside from two instruments I had brought from home my travel syringe. When it's time to leave I slip into its purse a rectal tube and a waterproof zipper bag full of 9-gram premeasured sea salt reusable zipper packets, a neat pour-and-stir trick dispensing the need for travelling with measuring cups, scales, and related paraphernalia so that I'm never forced to do away with buffering the water. That very night I proceeded to top off with a very satisfying BBE a daily workout filled with a morning tai-chi session, a long walk in the woods, mutual watsu practice, a body painting contest, a playful psychology lecture plus an afterdinner gathering in the tiny, all-wood dance hall.
I always include fingertip colon massage, Vogler style, in every enema session I perform either on myself or on occasional e-mates. I am no expert about massaging limbs, hands, feet, or face so I don't even touch them, but I know my way enough about reflex points scattered around the midsection, especially in the area between T10 and L5 where delicate manipulation over a sweet spot can do wonders. When circumstanes allow I open an enema session by massaging the entire back from nape to codpiece paying extra attention around neck cords and spine. The latter is much receptive to finger manipulation on acupressure points. I try to set a mental map of the recipient's sensory peculiarities beforehand in order to gently manipulate such spots along with colon massage as needed to aid relaxation and tame any possible discomfort during the enema. And, awkward as it is, after a little practice I got to manage about performing some of those maneuvers on myself as well.
Always seeking after some viable implement for adding comfort and any possible benefit to relaxation, some time ago I purchased a vibrating infrared plate which I tested rather extensively for a while before finding out that it's really best used as a resonance generator rather than a massage device. The plate warms very gradually yet after a quarter hour it will surely get your attention even when slid very lightly on the abdominal wall. I best enjoyed this comfy sensation following the colon layout with the plate during the winter months, when as a rule a raw wool sweater is the only complement to my birthday suit. As for the vibrating action I mostly enjoy it with my colon already filled to the cecum but not yet distended, least it can easily bring an anticlimax for it doesn't do much other than cutting some retention time. This massage plate does indeed a good job of transmitting its low frequency vibration when lightly pressed on the spine's crests. This sets a pronounced hum through the whole body which can be dimmed or enhanced by shifting and the plate along or across the small back.
This being said, I never had the opportunity to get a full body massage as part of an enema. I think that it could be the ultimate bliss.
