Enema nozzle insertion before or after laying down?

After taking the preferred position, a nice deep lubrication, and it is ready to receive the nozzle of choice...any nozzle... sticking it in before takes away all the poetry..... and a lot of the fun....

I insert the nozzle after I get down on all fours. I do lube up while still standing, prop one foot up on something and reach down between my legs. The lubed gloved index finger of my right hand massages and plays with my butthole before insertion.

Better for me to insert after getting in position. Morr comfortable for me

When giving myself an enema, I almost always start by laying down on my back. Then it is easy to reach between my legs to insert the nozzle.

If the purpose of the enema is cleansing, I then roll onto my left side, then over to my right side, and maybe finish on my back. Moving while it’s going in helps get it all the way to the end.

If the enema will include “other things “, then I usually stay on my back because it is easier to reach everything that way.

When the enema is given to me by someone else, it is, “How do you want me?”

Being much older, definatly lying down. I like to have everything ready. I normally lay down on my left side and begin by generasly lubing my anus with either Vaseline, Surgilube or both. I like to apply at least three times. Each going deeper. I love the feeling and the slight stretching thst happens. If I'm using a bag or hand pump, I'll pass the nozzle and hose between my legs and insert the nozzle with my right hand. This way thers ample hose to turn on my back and right side. If I'm using my favorite enema bulb, I'll mostly stay on my left side with my container in front of me and insert and squeeze with my right hand. I also will raise my right Leg for better and deeper access and deeper penstrstion. Usually half way through I'll turn on my back and fill that way. The only issue is itdls a bit more difficult filling the bulb that way. When on my back I will often set the bulb down on the towl with the tip of the nozzle against my anus. Then move my hips so that the nozzle slides in on its owne

I love this no hands feeling like someone else is inserting the nozzle for me.

I usually insert my bulbous 'barium' style nozzle standing up - right after bleeding the air from the silicone tubing and getting the shutoff into a good position. Being a nice smooth delrin nozzle it slides in nicely without lube - other than the slickness of the material.

I lay down on my bed, liberally lubricate (with fingers) my butt, lubricate my SNC 2.5 xl buttplug style retention nozzle then insert slowly in and out🤪I love widening up and clamping down as it pops in😈I’ll be doing a three quart coffee (and vodka) enema for relaxation and sexual pleasure later this evening😘I’m so enema horny I just can’t help myself😝

I run the water out, clamp the hose. It is not an issue after that. The water stays in. I lie on my side on the floor to insert or squat.

My favorite nozzle is homemade with black bulb turkey baster for my coffee enemas.

I buy the black rubber turkey baster and take the bulb off and carefully drill many holes around the face of the bulb then washing the bulb clear of any of the drilled pieces. Then to keep bulb in place on the plastic tube I wrap black vinyl electrical tape around the base of the baster bulb around and around several times then down on the clear plastic part around a couple times to keep the turkey baster bulb attached the clear cylinder tube. Attach regulator enema tube to the tip of the turkey baster.

Then raise the turkey baster nozzle above the bag and lower it to where it’s coming up the clear part of the cylinder and when it starts coming out of all the many small holes around the top of the bulb. Then clamp the hose clamp, and while keeling slowly work the completely butter covered turkey baster bulb inside but just till it’s barely pass the second spencer muscle. I lay down on my stomach and release the hose clamp all the way open for the most amazing feeling of coffee be released in many different directions inside me.

The bulb is like a bardex nozzle that keeps the coffee in place. If it is really uncomfortable push it inside a little and the coffee will release around the bulb. Just have a good sized extra large brown bath towel under you and large plastic 55 gallon plastic bag under the towel to keep it from seeping through to the floor or carpet.

I agree with Bad Princess. When I insert the nozzle either in me or sub that little air is of no concern to me. Position, depending on the emotion I want to impart is most important.

It is definitely more comfortable and pleasing for me to insert the nozzle after laying down. But in solo scenarios, while using inflatable nozzle, it is much easier to put in while standing, so that it will be simpler to clean the lube from hands.

In case of inflatable nozzle i am attaching it to the tube only after insertion. The volume of air inside is negligible.

In case of ordinary nozzle i am taking in my hand and holding tip-up while laying down and then insert, so there almost never more that a couple of drops.

Of course after laying. It's more comfortable this way and you can relax your anus before inserting the nozzle.

After switching to an in-line Higginson pump I admit to experimenting quite a bit with nozzle insertion. My aim is to inject only water, never air, as my IBS diva of a colon sometimes reacts miserably to even the smallest amount.

I keep the clamp as close to the nozzle as possible without compromising the seal of the tubing over the nozzle connector, but I also prefer a nozzle that has multiple bore holes and therefore several places where air could be introduced.

One method is to insert while standing in the shower. I give the syringe a squeeze so a little water comes out right at the moment of insertion. Then I continue if I’m in a hurry, or move everything to the bedroom if I’m not.

Otherwise, if I begin insertion while in position, I place my finger over the nozzle’s largest hole until the very last minute. This introduces a little air but usually not more than I can handle.
