Caring for bruises after a spanking

What cream or ointment do you recommend for the bruises on your bottom when you have been bruised during a spanking?

If you want it to feel worse, use Ben-Gay.

If you want it to feel better, use an anesthetic/dibucaine ointment

Just plain old cold cream.

I found that Jergens Skin Softening lotion applied liberally and often helps the bottom to feel better. It really feels good if you can get the spanker to apply it.

For my money, if you want to stop and/or negate bruising (or swelling) after a spanking, or worse, ice in a ziplock bag applied to the naked derierre is about as good as it gets... Apply gently, nurture your sub/bottom, and provide gentle words to help them return to their point of origin (beginning).

Now, go out and make it a gr8 weekend!

I like to hand spank or use my thin leather paddle with feathered edges. That paddle stings like hell but does not leave bruises or welts.

I see my Mistress every 2-3 weeks for a hard OTK spanking with hand, paddle and bath brush. It used to take 7-12 days for the redness and bruising to disappear but Mistress told me to use Arnica gel on my backside the same day as the spanking and 2-3 times a day after that. Now the redness is gone in 1-2 days and the bruising is gone in 5-7 days depending on how hard she spanked me.

I have heard arnica gel works well on bruises but I can't speak from experience on that. Sorry.

I sometimes use a little olive oil for my behind after my husband spanked me.

My girlfriend(s) use som aloe vera gel every now and then. Especially if she is bleeding a little which can happen if we get carried away and the spanking.

I usually rub her with aloe myself as a part of the aftercare every sub should receive after a nice spanking

Tend to the bruises, hell, I want the bruises, lol. Doc is getting better and better at spanking me. He left a welt or two this last time. I am not worried though, I will eventually coax him to take it to that level. Then when he does, I will wear them with pride.

You don't go in for exams or injections or anything related to a health provider until things heal.

They are mandated to report abuse. Of course, I would never report any type of abuse because it's none of the state's business. What happens in the house stays in the house and I don't care if it was real abuse. People need to stand up for themselves if they are being abused.

My husband and I wouldn't get very rough leaving marks unless our daughters were away at sleep-away camp during the summer because they would definitely see our, especially my marks under my bikinis. They would also hear the screaming if they were home!

Homeopathy is a bunch of crap.

The pills I saw are 30X which means the initial concentration is diluted to 1/1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 of its initial concentration. Avogadro's number is 602,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. The pill concentration is ten million times LESS of arnica than Avogadro's number.

There is literally NOT A SINGLE MOLECULE OF ARNICA IN THE ENTIRE BOTTLE LET ALONE A SINGLE PILL.

If the cream does anything, it is the emollients doing the work, not the arnica BECAUSE THERE ISN'T ANY IN THERE.

I think the best thing to use on a welted bottom is organic oil. Coconut oil is what the ladies in my house use after my disciplining. It is kind of traditional medicine used for many years and it works.

Treating a welted bottom with various salves is like treating a cold.

If you use all the treatments available, the welts will heal in 7-14 days. Some with very bad hematomas will take longer.

There is nothing wrong with using the expensive useless arnica gunk but you are just wasting money. From experience and years of it, if you want to hasten the healing of spanking bruises, have your partner give you a long very mild handspanking 2 or 3 times a day. JUST enough to turn the skin pink. Very mild so the spanking can last a while to get that pink. Really just a little firmer than patting.

I am not in a medical profession but I suspect this is increasing circulation to get the blood to carry away the pooled blood bruising faster. It shortens the bruise life by at least a couple days depending on the bruising intensity. .Try it. You will see.

I reckon aloe Vera plant is good to have at home , it last for long time and easy care .a rub of coconut oil will be a good cure too.

Just wondering if anyone tried applying oil or cream before spanking ,did it help to prevent bruises or at least make less ??

Wet skin, either with water or oil will result in more pain and severe bruising with spanking.

I usually use Jergen's Lotion. I can tell you one thing that I highly recommend you NOT use and that is ICY HOT lotion. I rubbed some ICY HOT on my bottom after a spanking one time thinking that the hot part would be a terrific turn on and I thought my buns were literally on fire a couple minutes after application. OMG......it hurt like no tomorrow and I quickly got in the shower to scrub it off with soap. It took several minutes before I felt I could stand the "heat" I wonder if others have had experience with this product. Denise

The bruises are part of the turn on for me. I love pulling my pants down or skirt up in the bathroom to take a look at them over the next several days. Just the residual pain and the sight of them makes me wet. I moisturize daily with coconut oil, regardless of a spanking.
