Buttplug, poking sensation

I bought a large mood naughty plug by doc johnson, because of the reviews are all positive. but when i put it in, it gives me a painful poking sensation inside, is it just me or do people get that with really pointy plugs?

I am not familiar with this particular plug, but I sometimes get this problem with anal insertions - particularly the longer, thinner, more rigid toys I have used. Mostly I have found that it is due to the end of the toy pressing on the wall of the rectum, which is in turn due to inserting at the wrong angle. The best angle for insertion is to point the tip towards your belly button. It also helps if you bear down.

Oh - and don't forget to use plenty of lube.

I'm not sure why that's happening to you. That plug is only 4" long and pretty thin. Do you get that same feeling with other toys, too?

I have a large (and it's large) Doc Johnson Classic plug that's a little longer than and a lot wider at the bottom than the naughty plug but I get no poking sensation from it.
