Penile Thermometers

I like the idea in a scene of lying or being tied to the exam table and having the male doc repeatedly take my temperature by inserting a thermometer deep into my urethra. Of course my cock would be in full erection as it was violated by the thermometer. Anyone else like that kind of temperature taking?

Never had it done, but it must feel akin to having a sound inserted into the urethra ... and that is an intense feeling. So, yes, it does sound nice.

They do make urethral thermometers, but they are part of catheter. they be popular in ER for get patient core temps. No ureathral catheter like rectal one though

Sounds interesting. Anyone who know how it works if you want to take your penile temperature and what kind of thermometer to use?

I have given this some thought, but have no experience. It seems to me that one of the older, glass thermometers could be applied to this purpose. Those that I remember had a small glass loops cast into the tops of them. A string or wire rod could be passed through this loop, ensuring that the thermometer would not slide uncontrollably down the penis. Once the thermometer was secure, I would be "hands free" to continue the examination .... which would doubtless include the application of a high-frequency vibrator to the shaft. "Ultrasound", so to speak.

Speaking as someone who's done this before, I can honestly say that taking a urethral temperature feels /fantastic/, and since it's usually higher (In my experience, at least) It's a great excuse to catheterize the patient.

I have an old glass thermometer and once i have lubed it, i slide it in and take my temp. It feels so good sliding in.

Just think about this please, glass and mercury inserted in your penis cannot seem like a good idea. One slip and it could be your last erection ever.

Nothing against it...just not my thing. But, it's a BIG world.

I am thinking you should try a sound it would give you the sensations without the risk of breakage. If you get a set you could start small and in time see how far you can stretch your urethra.

Don't see how this s relevant to the topic of Rectal Temperatures. I can imagine a RT being pleasurable and erotic; I can only image a urethral temperature being nothing but painful;

I imagine a digital thermometer would be safer, though it wouldn't go in as far. It shouldn't be painful if it's lubed and inserted carefully.

Candidly, there is nothing to taking a urethral temperature reading. And, yes, if you do it properly, the thermometer will slide down to your bladder opening.

There are some nice sensations, especially if erect, coupled with the mental aspect of ~ what happens if something goes wrong?

I've been a play.doc for a long time, and have had only one more-or-less minor problem arise. Fortuitously, I knew of a kink friendly physician in California, called him up, explained the issue, and he helped me through the issue.

And, on that subject, if you do encounter a problem, don't be shy about going to the ER, a physician, or a doc-in-a-box. The ER has seen everything imaginable, so you might be a little em bare assed, but that's better than having a major medical problem.

I'm with TravelX, never heard of a patients temp taken in the penis, but it sounds (no pun intended) interesting.

This sounds like it would be really interesting and fun to try with someone that's willing. Also appears to be very much like using a sound in a man's penis. They can be really erotic.

The most important thing about anything put into a urethra (male or female) is that it be VERY clean (and it's a good idea to clean the opening too with something that will kill or imobililze germs of various kinds), and that the rod be VERY smooth and not too wide. It is good to lubricate it with surgilube, since that's bacteriostatic.

Also, if it's relatively narrow, it will easily slip down inside a male urethra, so it's good to have something on the end to prevent it from going beyond where it can be retrieved. This happened to me the first time I tried a sound on myself, but it slid back out easily when I turned myself over on the bed so it would slide out. It did -- just as easily as it went in. Using anything made of glass presents serious dangers -- although one might be tempted to try this if you're new -- and should be avoided.

I've sounded myself, but never past the prostate and into the bladder. The feeling from a short 1.5-2" stainless steel probe connected to estim is fantastic when paired with another trode on the taint or in the anus.

I've sounded several women, including estim on medical grade stainless steel sounds -- including into the bladder. I was taught online how to do this by some European women. One woman said this put her into a 2-hour orgasm. The other wants me to do it again soon.

I do this regularly, I typically use a digital thermometer and insert it as far as I can for a temp. Typically it is part of an exam so by them My urethra is well lubricated by precum. I have use a glass them, but do prefer the flexibility of a standard digital thermometer. It is a fantastic add on to an exam. I would be happy to share the procedure with anyone who wants to see of be part of. I have a pic or two and will share those if you want too. Also looking for Docs who will to a virtual exam via webcam as I have no contacts in my area.

It is an exciting and pleasurable experience for anyone trying to enhance their med fet experience. Just a note of warning to make sure you clean the thermometer with alcohol or the like to make sure it's disinfected as bladder infections are easy to get. You can use the same therm for a rectal temp (it's fun to compare) but do the penile one first.

Re: Penile temp taking: Important to use an alcohol wipe to sterilise the thermometer before putting it in.... and giving it a few seconds for the alcohol to dry too! The patient's precum is the best lube. Sometimes over cleaning the glans (penis head) can cause infection problems, bizarre as it sounds.... It' s something to do with care, whichever type of thermometer is used. But it's VERY erotic, done well.

I kind of have a hunch that you will get there larz... And, unless you go 'big', there is no pain. Yes, some different sensations to be reconciled with; but, no pain UNLESS you do it wrong.

Everything, washed, cleaned, sterile, gloves on hands, and proper cleaning of the glans/urethral opening, and you can never-ever use too much lube on penis, or anus for that matter.

I am going to be using a urethral sound for the first time on a play friend tomorrow night. I hadn't considered a thermometer although I do appreciate the advice about avoiding the glass ones. Would make an interesting addition to his exam, rubber gloves and all, before he gets his spanking and enema.

I really enjoy rectal temperature giving and receiving, but I don't like the idea of having a thermometer inserted into my urethra.

I've tried it once, definitely interesting. Would love to do it to other guys.
