How often do you take your temperature?

Usually 3-4 times a week always on the weekend - I usually do it first thing in the AM and stick the thermometer in the Vaseline beside my bed the night before so i see it when I wake up

A couple times a week. If I had a willing partner I’d hope he’d check it daily for me.

So UPDATE: I just used our 👂 ear thermometer……

I 1st used it in my ear and got a reading of 98.4.

Then I changed the cover; pulled down my Britches and took it rectal WITH the EAR THERMOMETER and got 100.2😳!

So yes I took my rectal temperature WITH an EAR THERMOMETER AND IT WORKED!! 😳👍🏻

Daily….I’m doing the fertility temp thing….so every morning! I usually do this temperature taking solo just b/c of timing…my husband and I getting ready did work. other times my husband takes it. I like laying over his lap while he takes my temperature….for one it feels good and two it brings back memories of my childhood when mg parents would take it that way in that position. Funny I cried having it done as a child but when I got older and even now as an adult; it doesn’t bother me….unless I’m sick and when I feel really bad I tend to cry so it’s not so much the act of having a thermometer inserted into my bottom as much as I just don’t feel good!

In real life only if I am really sick.

Never... last time was years ago when I wanted to skip classes. Tipped the thermometer into my cup of hot coffee when mom wasn't watching.

I take mine a couple of times a week, more when I'm sick.

@Vicki_V Interesting. We would usually take our temperatures rectally but, during COVID-19, since we were urged to take temperatures every morning, we had an infrared thermometer for quick verification.

I just took mine today….I had a 99.8 earlier. I’m about to again because I’m starting to feel worse!

Bad colds are going around these days, @Luvbottomtemps. Could be the flu, too. Continue taking your temperature to properly monitor your state. Hopefully you'll feel better soon.

3-4 times a day, depending on whether I stay at home or I continue my work

C. Being healthy but during a pandemic

When there was swine flu 2009, my parents took my temperature in the morning and in the afternoon during that time.

When there was CoVID I was a Soldier and the troops was demanded monitoring their temps 2 times a day, so same procedure (it wasn't demanded how to take it but I chose RT of course)

A. A couple of times a week. I enter results in core temp on my Fitbit app. App enters skin temp automatically.

B. When sick, every four hours or so.
