Enema Chairs

Has any one experienced a enema chair? I saw one on a video once and was just wondering what the experience would be like and where I could find out where to get one.

These are not sold commercially. You have to make one. A cheap version would be by buying a JBL enema bag which is made to sit on. Next find a chair.

I read that enema chairs used to be quite popular in England during the Victorian Age, but as far as I know nobody makes them anymore.

I have made custom enema chairs over the years. Agreed, a lost art. Want to order one? They start at about $400 and with accessories you can spend all you want. Any size, shape or attachments you might like can be incorporated. This is not a sales pitch. I'm just saying that they can be made if someone is interested and I'm sure some local craftsman could make one as well if you could explain or sketch what you would like and get beyond the "why would you want such a thing?" questions.

An easy way to make an Enema chair is to use one of the shower chairs. Most of them have

holes in the seat, and it is easy to run a tube up through the bottom and attach a nozzle. A lot of times these chairs can be found at thrift shops or garage sales for

only a few bucks.

The chair has a hole (actually 3) through which you could run an enema hose.

You can convert your toilet to a very effective enema chair....actually a colonic chair.

You need to measure the distance across the rim (left to right)and outside to outside.

Cut a piece of 1/8" thick aluminum which is about 3"inches wide about 4 or so inches longer than your rim to rim measurement.

Now, drill a hole in the center of the piece of aluminum you just cut (center lenght and width) about the size of your enema tubing...it should be a very tight fit and may require a bit of lube to push the tubing thru.

Your are going to bend the aluminum at right angles near each end of the piece of aluminum. You should be able to insert the bent aluminum inside the toilet bowl rims. Now, you need to make a final bend on each side so that the aluminum ends sit on the toilet bowl rim. You now have a stable support piece to insert you enema tubing thru and then attach a long nozzle such that when you sit on the toilet seat, the enema tube goes into your rectum about 3 inches and is impossible to push out.

Finally, find a 5 gallon bucket (ie Home Depot) and drill a hole in the side near the bottom of the bucket. The hole size should allow you to insert a given diameter of a metal spigot with a barbed end which fits your enema hose. Once the round end of the spigot is inserted in the hole, you can use silicone gel to make a waterproof seal around the spigot....be sure to use lots of sealant. Let the sealant dry for at least 24 hours.

Now attache your enema tubing to the spigot. Make the tubing long enough to allow you to hang the bucket at a height which will allow water to flow by gravity at a rate which you desire. Make sure your enema hose has a clamp.

Now, to enjoy a home colonic! Fill the bucket with water at a temp you prefer. You can add salt, soap, or any other ingredients during the filling process. Make sure your clamp is closed during the filling.

You now have almost 20 quarts of liquid to inject into your colon. Be sure to lube the tube and your anus well. Let a little water run out of the colonic system, clamp and then slowly sit on the toilet seat and guid the enema tube into your colon...do this slowly and when you are comfortably sitting on the toilet seat, release the clamp and enjoy a thorough cleansing. When the need to evacuate occurs, just let it happen. After evacuation, more water will flow in and just repeat the process until all water is out of the bucket.

I made an enema chair out of a shower chair, had to drill center hole bigger for the hose and nozzle as I use extra size nozzles, it really does feel good to sit down on the noz and crack open the clamp and feel the rush! What a way to relax after a hard day, think i'll try it later today.

I think to be a completely effective enema chair, you need arm rests with restraints and ankle shackles. I mean of you are going to the trouble to make one, it should take care of all possible contingencies.

You can definitely get a local craftsman to make one for you. You could even go to a "naked"/unfinished furniture store and get a captains's chair (they are sturdy) and add the nozzles yourself and then coat it with polyurethane to make it water proof. While I do not own an enema chair, I have had a local leather craftsman make all sorts of things for my leather hoods and arm/wrist/leg restraints. My guy hardly looked at me sideways, even the first time when I gave him oaktag templates of what I wanted. OK, he did give me a wink, but he was completely amenable. After a couple of projects, he and I got to be rather chummy with each other and he would ask more specific questions about what I did with them.

There will be those who may refuse to make things for you. Once I was dropping off a paper template and the woman asked what it was, and I told her. She wouldn't even touch it. She had me come back when my guy was there!

I like taking my enemas sitting down. I have used a shower chair for a long time. I just recently bought a weight bench where part of the seat lifts up. So I can sit and lay back while I take my enema. Works great and not too expensive.

I've had some of my best Enemas reclining on a vinyl strap deck lounger. I set the foot end legs on blocks to raise it and have he back rest at about a 45 degree. Very comfortable.

Having had two back operations in the past, I found it difficult to wash my feet and clean and cut my toenails. As a solution, I purchased a shower chair via Amazon. The model I got even has the pericut shape which allows my male parts to dangle which is great for several reasons. The chair also has a few holes 1/4 inch in size and one is located right where my anus is over the seat. Since I have an older amber pumpkin, open topped bag that holds three quarts,thank you again Amazon, with 1/4 inch hose, It attaches nicely to the chair. I simply run the hose through the appropriate hole, attach the nozzle of choice and pull back the extra hose. It stops at the back edge of the nozzle and "voila" I now have an enema chair that fits nicely into my tub. Easy clean-up and the toilet is right next to me for quick access. I have read other articles on Zity where one of our members has used his drill to allow the chair to take a larger diameter hose. I must say though that I still enjoy enemas in a wide variety of positions. MRay.

I posted elsewhere that I was able to turn a cheap PVC patio chair into an enema chair. Those chairs are likely on closeout this time of year and can be had for 5-10 bucks. I drilled holes in the seat and one in the front. They are centered and appear to be part of the original design for drainage.

I used an "L" shape swamp cooler distribution tube to extend out the front a couple of inches. It also extends upward through the seat an inch or two. A Cleanstream flexible 10" nozzle, or a douche bulb nozzle, will fit over the distribution tube very nicely. I cut these to my preferred length so that I wasn't potentially causing harm.

A typical enema bag can then be suspended at the desired height, and flow controlled as necessary. The tubing attaches to the distribution tube without adapters. It can be used in any location with appropriate caution for any leakage. Disassembly is a breeze for cleaning and discrete storage. Those few extra holes shouldn't raise too many eyebrows.

I take most of my enemas while relaxing in the Jacuzzi tub. The enema chair is handy in the shower and provides a nice change now and then.

I would love a recliner with foot pedals for flow and temperature. Can you imagine reclining and just a tap of the foot to control the flow?

I wonder if anyone was ever tied or bound as a child in order toe sure compliance ?

My husband built an enema chair out of an old wooden dining table chair. I think all he did was drill a couple of holes in the seat and then fixed it so he could add restraints if he wanted to. Did not take him long at all.

@russelljc37 .. Foot control units to suit various fluids /applications have been with us for many many decades & it is definitely quite feasible to incorporate said unit into an Enema chair....But I shall point out there are several things one must consider.

1) Being industrial appliances nearly all are either cast alloy (machined brass sleeve internals with either compressible brass or neoprene / nylon olive compression connectors ) or are manufactured using all Stainless Steel componentry....so cost is one factor & they are not cheap !!

2) Mains water pressure MUST be regulated because one really could do themselves serious injury....Generally most water utilities deliver at the rate of 60 psi or 420 kpa at the tap...hence pressure regulators are necessary.

3) The Regulator(s) alone - Again cost can determine...anything from hard plastics to brass bodied on through to Stainless....plastic units tend to fail at some point...experience !!

4) The Mixer - This piece can serve dual roles...both as the temperature controller & as a regulator...These products come purpose made in a variety of configurations....such as 1 in 2 outlet....1 in 6 outlet....2 in 2 outlet....2 in 4 outlet... so provided one knows what they are doing....No point elaborating further as it may boggle.

5) The Chair - whatever flips the switch....Presumably some would be familiar with electrically operated dental chairs...so imagination being what it is one can apply the power tilt /trim components from leisure craft & adapt accordingly....being by way of 12V / 24VDC power supply,no surprising electro shock from a mains supply.

7) If one knows what they are looking for & at, then garage sales / yard sales / business closures etc etc can provide the necessary items at a very moderate cost.

The simplest DIY methods explained in this thread while easy to construct almost make meticulous nutters like myself obsolete...LOL

The used tractor seat was bought on e-bay. In good condition, but rough paint. Taken to a powder coating shop; they sand blasted it and applied the glossy red waterproof paint.

It is easily bolted to what you see, or to a bondage chair/cross combination for full immobilization. The existing holes in the seat include one at the center that is perfect for a nozzle connector with the hose and bag hung accordingly. Note the eye-bolts on each side, providing for ropes or straps to guarantee the subject cannot escape. Behind-the-back armbinders, ankle cuffs + spreader bar and a host of other creative bondage possibilities have been used. The metal seat is, of course, conductive.

@russelljc37 ^^^ Presumably so...Their outdoor reticulation parts & plumbing aisle for the smaller fittings like couplers/compression ftgs / barbed hose tails / valves (one way) & the like....Foot controllers being what they are from places like Atlas Copco...Jamec Pemm...Pacific Hoists...also try companies that supply quality airline (as in compressor) parts.

Has anyone ever used/seen an enema chair? I love the concept of a nice, secure chair that a victim can be strapped into and filled up at the discretion of the man or woman in charge. However, I haven't seen anything with a chair like that, and stories are few and far between. Does anyone have any content/fantasies along this line they wanna share? I'm curious to know if anyone is interested in enema chairs as I am.

To me, it sounds as a JBL-type bag, taped to the chair would work as you want The "operator" could control the enema with the twist valve.
