Does anyone else enjoy anesthesia scenes?

My biggest “fantasy” is anesthesia in general.

Absolutely! I've been anesthetized several times for medical procedures. Laying there when they inject the drug into the line.... knowing it is slowly moving down the tube and eventually into my arm, and that I'm helpless to stop it... and I will be completely under their control when it does...

I’m hoping to have plastic surgery, and I’ve watched countless videos of the surgeries; I’ve always been drawn to the anesthesia and intubation.

I enjoy anesthesia (receiving and watching). I particularly like if the patient smiles or giggles, but I like the eye roll, the mouth hanging open, and seeing the body go limp. I also would enjoy experiencing this as a patient.

I love the idea of being put to sleep, by my childhood dentist, she was very mature and motherly, she took control and I had no chance of resisting the process.

And seeing the mask getting more and more fogged up as the patient breathes, especially if her lips are slightly parted, and her eyes start getting a little hazy.

@Hi_iaka love your comment, the encouragement to take the deep breathes, that you just know are going to take away your control. I held my breath for as long as I could, the nurse encouraging me to breath, as she massaged the re-breather bag to get the gas into my little lungs.

Because I have always battled insomnia from a young age I do enjoy anesthesia because I know I will not actually sleep but because I know I am going to be out. It's interesting to see other people in PACU that haven't woken up yet too.

Oh yes, I would enjoy a play patient to be taken to a twilight stage where she is totally aware and can feel everything but here body cannot move at all. Talk about total submission!

Watched quiet a few videos on subject before and after procedures. Think it probably stressed me more by watching them. Did find interesting though.

I love it too, both receiving and watching.

I've had 26 surgeries and dozens of procedures requiring significant sedation or being put completely under with general sedation.

I love the process of being put under. I love trying to resist the pull of unconsciousness as I try to stay awake as long as possible. I love seeing videos or movies when people's eyes start glazing over and finally closing as they succumb to the anesthesia.

And @GillyJ, I know you enjoy stories of this nature so here goes . . .

One time, when I was going to have a tooth extracted, the endodontist planned to use IV sedation with fentanyl and versed to put me out. I asked the assistant to use my phone to videotape me going under just so I could see it later—yeah, I like seeing that kinda stuff.

In the movies, they used to say, “Count backwards from 100.” By the number 98, the patient was slurring, and by 95 they were out. So I started counting backwards as the dentist pressed the plunger and pretty much followed the movie script and was out by the count of 95.

I had a new idea two years later, when I needed another tooth extracted (yes, another tooth—everyone in my family was cursed with bad genes for teeth).

Rather than count backwards from 100, I wanted to talk until the medicine pulled me under. The doc said okay, so the assistant started filming as the dentist injected the loopy-inducing cocktail into my IV line, and I started talking and did not stop. I concentrated so I could keep talking and I did keep talking, so much so and for so long (over a full minute) that the dentist finally said, “Okay, okay, we need to get this surgery going. Why don’t you just relax and let the medicine do its job.”

And I felt like saying, “Hey, doc, I’m paying you $789 for this IV sedation and it probably costs you less than $50 for the fentanyl, the versed, and the IV, and so, give me a couple of minutes to enjoy it before it takes over my brain and body. You can afford to give me 90 seconds to do my little experiment about concentrating and talking overcoming the effects of fentanyl and the versed.”

But by the time I paused to listen to his two sentences, the IV started to do its job, and I was so easy going by then that I didn’t feel like arguing so I stopped talking and relaxed and was out pretty quick. The assistant stopped her job as a filmmaker once I was completely out and I can only assume she started her other job assisting the dentist.

Most of my surgeries in the 50’s and early 60’s involved induction of anesthesia by enema. The anesthesiologist had a small enema can with a very long lavender hose that was slowly inserted until it reached the far side of my transverse colon. When the clamp was clicked open I was asked to count backwards from a hundred and my rectum involuntarily contracted as the cold fluid flowed. I never made it past the mid 90’s.

I would probably try it but I only with someone I really really really trusted. I've been sedated three times and did not enjoy any of them. It's hard to be THAT vulnerable.

Alright here’s a confession I fricking hate daylight savings time because twice a year it destroys my sleep schedule land i become a grumpy ahole from not sleeping.anyway i see a sleep pathologist who he and i are as thick as thieves ., so right now my GI doc wants and is arranging a hospital stay so he can go sight seeing . And this coincides with my sleep issues or maybe we just say my lack of sleep hit me last night pretty hard . So tired off a note about 3:30 telling my sleep pathologist how much I looking forward to this admission ( doctors don’t often have patients who look forward to. Invasive procedures ) but him treating my sleep disorders I knew he would crack up laughing when I said I am looking forward to getting k holed . And I always feel better so maybe I should get sick more often so I get more holes when I really need them ? I will play patient getting holed and love it . I love anesthesia scenes! Something about a girl slowly counting back and putting all trust in the doctor really gets me going. I’ve role played with a few partners before and that’s one of the things of done right I have a hard time holding back my cum! The whole aesthetic of putting the oxygen mask on and getting placed in a compromising position is up there for top loves of my medfet!

That was my sister. She recently had breast cancer surgery to remove the cancerous lump. All she remembered was they started giving her oxygen and then she was waking up in recovery.

There’s something about seeing them attach the monitoring that does it for me. I think because I remember experiencing it as a young, but well developed, teenager. Having people put their hands through my gown, touching me in new places as I drifted off, was an experience.
