Can anyone share urine sample experiences?

Have you heard the one about me missing the cup completely about ohhhh EVERYtime I leave a pee sample?

I was hospitalized for fever, pneumonia. The aide had to do a 'clean catch' urine specimen. When I felt I could urinate she took me to the toilet, and told me to drop my pants. She didn't allow me to do any of the procedure. She opened up the foil package in the envelope and after retracting my foreskin, cleaned it off. Still holding my penis she had me start to urinate. After a couple seconds she squeezed the lower penis to shut off the urine flow, inserted the cup and releasing the pressure on my penis, let the urine flow, filling the cup. She pulled it out and let me finish. I had read the instructions on the kit, which said to insert the cup in the free flowing stream, rather than stop the flow and re-start. But I wasn't going to argue with someone who had my penis in her hand! I asked the RN about the variance in the procedure; he confirmed her error and said he would give her additional 'in service training.'

Are you asked to wipe yourselves first

I've never had a clean catch sample done, but I would like to know more about this procedure in terms of modesty, etc.

I've been given urine tests before (for medical reasons, not drug tests) and was surprised that none have been clean catch. In my experience, it was just sending me into a restroom with a cup. What are the indications for a clean catch test as opposed to a "regular" urine test?

A little story: on one occasion, I was send to fill the cup but the only restroom was adjacent to the waiting room. Everyone in the waiting room knew I was giving a urine sample, and I had to walk back through with my filled cup in full view of everyone. A bit embarrassing at the time for sure.

Clean the head of the penis with a sterile wipe. If you are not circumcised, you will need to pull back (retract) the foreskin first.

Urinate a small amount into the toilet bowl, and then stop the flow of urine.

Then collect a sample of urine into the clean or sterile cup, until it is half full.

You may finish urinating into the toilet bowl.

The procedures are more centered around allowing a first urination to self cleanse the urethra of any stale urine lingering there, collecting what is often called a 'mid-stream specimen' and then finishing in the toilet.

bratwurst seemed to get something of a personal service, lol, and the 'in service training' was more likely to do with the provision of that 'service' than the advised routine of putting the cup in the flowing stream - which I'd suggest could be quite messy! Nothing wrong with medlines outlined procedure.

As a man I a usually told to urinate into a a plain white 8 ounce coffee cup.

After producing the sample, cover the cup then write your name on it.

I've only had to give urine sample as part of a pre-employment physical. After being called by the nurse, she would hand me a plastic cup with a alcohol wipe in the cup. While we walked to the restroom she would give you quick instructions on collecting the your urine. Plus there was a instruction poster in the restroom: clean your penis head (retract forskin), clean around the uretha opening, start peeing into the toilet the stop, pee into the cup filling to the line and finish up in the toilet. Then see your nurse and walk to the office lab. The lab tech. checked the temperature of the urine and sealed the specimen cup for testing. I truly enjoy walking around with a cup of pee in front of stangers.

I played sports in college..and we were subject to drug testing. You were notified then escorted to the restroom. The lady would always stand right outside the stall and you hand the cup to her when you are finished. I have been tested probably 5-6 times...plus at other doctors appointments 😃

The urologist does a flow test and you have to pee in a funnel that measures the flow rate as you go. I was in line and the guy ahead of me got stage fright and I had to go so bad finally I get in the room and the nurse is in there and I could not get it started. So I had to do the walk of shame and sit in the lobby waiting to go. Finally after a bunch of tiny cups of water I was ready and got in and could not get going nurse turned on the faucet and after a minute of listening to the water run finally got went. It was interesting to see the print out of the flow as I was going.

I hate those they are the worst.

It wasn't a very complete play exam, more play than exam. I laid on my back, ass at the foot edge of the bed, my feet on his shoulder. He spread my labia apart and then I had to pee while he held a plastic cup below my slit.

Its always fun when you cant go and they offer to break out a catheter..

When growing up I always had to provide a urine sample in the exam room in a plastic cup in front of the doctor.

My wife fell and broke her wrist a few years ago and we went to the emergency room. Because of the way she landed when she fell, they wanted to make sure her kidneys were not affected so they asked her to give them a urine sample. With her wrist broken, she was not able to squat and hold the container so I had to go in the bathroom with her and hold the container while she peed into it. She was thoroughly embarrassed even though we have been married for many years. Then when she heard them drop the container, she told them they would have to supply the next sample, but fortunately nothing was spilled. I, of course, didn't mind helping one bit.

I supplied the required urine specimen plus some blood work and had to return in a week for the results. During this follow up the doctor was going over the test results when my mind started thinking of something unrelated to the discussion when I heard her mention something that sounded important. I asked her to back up a bit and repeat what she just said. She thought she needed to also explain the out of boundary test results due to excess skin cells found in the urine sample. She then went on in detail on how those out of range results could happen. Of which included the possibility of me touching the inside of the collection cup with my penis or finger. She said that would not require a retest as some men do in fact have their penises touch the inside of the sample cup. (I think she was telling me the cup was small ;-)

This is not play exam but real life. One of my employers required a drug test for which they would collect the urine sample. They had 2 lady nurses, one each was posted in the men's and women's restroom. They put some bluish liquid in the commode and were literally standing just outside the stall - I could see her legs - as we had to fill in the bottle. I would be lying if I said that the thought of shooting the stream towards her did not cross my mind (or some of my fellow colleagues). It felt extremely creepy at that time but then I was not so much into medfet.

For play exams, one of the procedures involves urinary incontinence test whereby the play doctor holds the cup in front of the patient, ask them to start peeing and then suddenly stop in the middle to check for leakage, and then after a set time, the patient is allowed to empty the bladder. A huge turn on in my mind.

Usually, if I use the wipes and clean under my foreskin like I'm supposed to, I get too hard and that makes it really difficult to give a sample

I have had this done for work a couple of times. my first job out of college was with a govt agency and part of the screening process was a drug test. the day i was called in, one of my co-workers was in charge of the screening. she was a year ahead of me in the program, but we had worked together a couple of times. when i arrived, we immediately laughed and sort of knew what had to happen. i joked with her and asked if there was any possible way she could not watch and/or stand near me. she said she would if she could, but there really wasn't any place to hide. right behind the desk she was checking us in at there was a curtained partion. behind the curtain there was a porta-potty sliced in half. i was able to get away with her not having to stand next to me, but she was right behind me as i put the sample in the cup.

15 years later, i was working for a company that started a random drug testing program. as an act of good faith and as an example, the executive management staff had to go first. since this was a new process the lab sent a couple of their staff to our company to do the testing. unfortunately for me, my neighbor (a few doors down) was the tech that was assisting. of course, the first thing we said to each other was, i didn't know this is where you worked? we had a little small talk and then she handed me a cup. she said, it's to fill it up. don't worry, unfortunately, this is what i do for a living and i've already seen your co-workers, so you're next. i asked do you have to come with me? she said yes, i will be standing next to you. so we went to the restroom. i unzipped, pulled it out and went in the cup. my neighbor observed every step. a few days later, i had to tell my wife. thanks to that event we now have a couple of new friends on our street.

I had to supply a sample and hand it thru a sliding door when finished....when I slid open the door, there was another sample already there. I wonder if they wanted me to take it...sort of like, take a penny; share a penny. LOL

I had to give a sample acouple time during college or pre-employment physicals. The very first time was an horrible experience. It was not until I arrived at the doctor's office that day a urine sample was required. I couldn't pee on command so I had to return later that day to provide the sample.

Usually, the nurse just gives me a plastic cup and wipe and waited outside the bathroom. There was a poster giving instructions on the proper way collect urine for both males/females. The younger nurses will just tell you to look at the poster before peeing in the cup. There was a older nurse that told you and everyone in the office heard (very loud talker) the instructions for collecting urine. She would tell you things like: 1) "it's pee time". 2) "pull your foreskin back the wipe your the head and tip of your penis plus both sides of the pee slit." 4) then your going to pee into the toilet, stop fill the cup, then finish up.". The whole time she using hand gestures to demonstrate the process.

I have had many employment drug tests, usually at some bargain clinic. I always found it funny to watch the med staff women handling my pee. When I went into the military, you had to pee in the cup while a medic watched, to prevent tampering. If you couldn't go, you had to come back another day.

It's funny, but in my 34 years in the Navy, I've never been asked to provide a urine sample for drug testing. We've been told many times that it could happen essentially "anywhere, anytime", but it never has. And I've been secretly hoping that the Military Police would suddenly approach me and whisk me off to their station to provide a sample, under the supervision of two cops! Thank God for fantasies!

I was giving a urine sample and i masturbated first and then peed in the cup. I made sure not to include too much sperm but there was OBVIOUSLY an amount in it. I then peed the rest of the cup so it did not look so obvious. Yet, it was unmistakable that i had spurted some.

I have to give a sample pretty much every time I go for a checkup. Usually they give you the cup when you check in and you just go to the restroom, urinate, seal the cup and leave it in the little window to the lab. My gyno asks me to bring a sample from home instead because for whatever reason she wants you to collect your first pee of the morning. In that case I hand the receptionist my little brown baggie upon arriving, conscious that everyone in the waiting room knows what's inside.

I did have to submit to a pre-employment drug test once in college. That wasn't so different in procedure, but it felt 100% different - like I was under suspicion and not just providing a specimen for the assessment of my health. They make you leave your purse/jacket/etc. in another room, empty out your pockets, and give you 10 minutes to fill the cup. I don't think there were cameras or anything in the restroom but you weren't allowed to run the sink or flush the toilet. I had to pee in the cup while the tech waited outside the door, hearing everything, then hand it to her and watch her pour it into two test tubes and seal them. If one returns a bad result, they test the other half of the sample, and if you test positive again you're fired/not hired.

This is a BIG DEAL for me and from as far back as I can remember it has turned me on to give a urine sample in the doctor's office. My earliest memory was being asked by a pretty young nurse to "go potty in the little pan for me." That phrase still excites me and those words and the act are always a part of my play doc experience. The act of cleaning the head of my usually at least partially erect penis, the bright yellow color of urine in a stainless steel pan, or a clear plastic cup, the smell...it all turns me on.

My adolescent and adult urine sample experiences are on par with what others have written (see my other posts for an account of masturbating after providing a urine sample at age 15.) I never had to do drug testing but would have welcomed the opportunity to urinate in the presence of a female technician. The fact that we go to the bathroom with the same body parts we use to have sex is simply a primal turn on for me. In fact, it always surprises me if people aren't turned on by the dual functionality of our genitalia, seems kind of obvious to me.)

I can feel a wet spot in my underpants right now...may be time to do something about it... 😉

I've done a number of difference types of giving urine samples.

The usual in a sterile container at the doctor's. When I was young, we would do this at home and bring it in a small glass jar, from jelly or baby food. Since my teens I just do it at the doctor's in one of their plastic containers.

I've had a couple pre-employment drug tests. One was like others have said, emptying pockets, and having nurse waiting outside the door, with the door open a crack so she could hear things. Another time I was observed with the nurse in the room.

For medical studies, I've had several. One I remember involved trying not to let any of my penis touch the opening of the container. Another they had me put a disinfecting brown paste all over the head of my penis beforehand.

A couple times, for studies, I've had to collect my urine for multiple days, or even a whole week. They gave me this gallon sized container to use, which I brought back to the hospital.

I've heard of drug tests where the person had to strip naked, and then be observed giving the sample. Those involved people who had been arrested, or already convicted of some crime.

There are all sorts of gadgets you can buy to conceal someone else's untainted urine in a vial or small container, which you then use instead of your own urine. I've seen something which had a small tube which ran from a container under your clothes, and then along under your penis or vagina, and was intended to look as if you were actually voiding into the test container.
