Rectal temperature taken as punishment

Has anyone had their temperature taken rectally as punishment?

My mother told me a story of how the girl that lived next door to us had her rectal temperature taken as punishment. Donna's mother rang our bell one day to ask if she could borrow Mom's rectal thermometer. My mother asked what was wrong, and Donna's mother explained that she wanted to take her temperature and that Donna refused to open her mouth for the oral thermometer. Donna's Mother asked my mom to come and "help" her with Donna. My mother said that Donna's mother told her to lay down on the sofa. She did, and with my mother watching, she pulled down her daughter's panties and inserted the rectal thermometer up her bottom. My mother held her legs to prevent her from turning over with the thermometer in her. "Next time I tell you to open your mouth, young lady, maybe you'll listen," she warned as she removed the thermometer from Donna's bottom.

As I recall,Donna was my age at that time which was about 8. I don't think she gave her mother any future problems when it came to taking her temperature.

Not really as punishment, but a threat. If my parents thought that I was faking sick to get out of school they would threaten the "Baby Thermometer". It worked for awhile, but the threats never really held up.

I've lied about being sick and my mom inserted the thermomter into my recturm and because I didn't have a fever had to go to school and took my temprature that way every morning for a week. I never played or tried playing sick again. The dreaded words "Time to check your temp" - I had to co-operate or get spanked. I chose the co-operate route.

This started when I was maybe 5 or 6, before I was into any of this. In my teen years, when I finally realized my medical fetish they had already started to believe my when I said I was sick. I was a good student and they allowed me to take a day off here or there. So it never came to fruition, back when they would have done it, I didn't think to try and when I thouhgt to try, they didn't bother. Hope that answers your question.

My friend's mother was a nurse and used to insist on taking her temp rectally every morning before going to school, even into her high school years.

Except for the embarrassment, especially in an older child or adult, especially if given where it can be seen by others, I don't really see a rectal temperature as a "punishment".

It IS generally considered to be the most accurate, and shouldn't be painful in any way. If I feel I'm running a fever, I take my own temperature rectally for accuracy. Since I'm solo, it's purely a personal choice and not particularly erotic.

Now if a rectal temp leads to an enema, spanking or other punishment, that's another thing entirely.

I pneumonia real bad several times as a kid and the nurses always took my temp rectally and usually while sitting on the bed and rubbing my back while they waited for the temp to read

It is a ruse sometimes used by military personnel to get excused drill or other unpopular activities.

Never as a punishment but enjoyed the humilation and embarrassment when my mom would tell everyone she was taking my temp or the nurse would announce a rectal temp in exam room number that I was in.

I think it could be a punishment - but especially in countries, where RT is not the most usual way to take temperature. In my country it is still the most used way - and therefore it is maybe not so much a punishment here. 😃

I've never had it taken as punishment. To me, that crosses the line and makes the kid afraid of medical procedures. Like telling a child if she doesn't behave, she'll have to go to the doctor and get a shot.

I think that rectal temperatures given as a punishment is very bad. It misleads their purpose, they have to be given only to take temperature (if the person receiving them is unwilling). They can be used as fun if the receiver and giver are into them.

I've had a RT done only once as a child by a Doctor who made house calls. He slipped it in and turned his back to talk to my mother. I managed to push that little bugger out of my bottom only to have the doctor re-insert it and hold it there. How humiliating!

Now as an adult, I can think of a few ways a rectal temp can be given/taken as punishment. 😉

My siblings and I had our temperatures taken rectally if we claimed that we were too sick to go to school until we were 12.
