I have noticed in porn (both straight and gay) that a person will spit into another person's mouth (usually when getting a blow job). I was taught growing up that spitting was gross (though a lot of other things that I do now my parents would probably tell me is gross, but that is a different subject). While I am a open-minded guy and willing to try everything once (sometimes twice just to make sure that I really didn't like it the first time), spitting in someone's mouth is not any sort of a turn-on for me. Is it for anyone? Have you tried it, do it, or is it something you fantasize about?

I understand that it is no different from french kissing someone (which I have done more times than I can remember). I am curious to know what the turn-on is in doing it, and why it is not rare in porn.

It's not so much the transfer of saliva/spittle but the manner used. To spit at all is, in my opinion, abusive. Others will I know have a different view.

I agree 100% with BigK, spitting on someone or in their mouth is demeaning in the extreme.

Depending on the situation, spitting at me could be take as akin to a physical attack and in my younger days could possibly have been responded to accordingly. That being said, I've known women who would spit on their hand and use it as a lubricant. Not perfect, but I guess it works in a pinch.

I take a lot of "abuse" at my job. My patients hit me, throw poop on, at or near me. I make sure they are safe first of course, but then I walk away and go and cool off for a period about long enough for me to smoke.

Spitting on me is in my opinion the absolute most degrading and insulting thing to do to me, not to mention totally gross. It makes my blood boil with a sure fire quickness.

So, I can honestly say, someone spitting in my mouth would not be a good idea, or suggesting I do that to them either. NASTY. Now, I will spit on my hand or on his dick as lube prior to doing sexual things to him, but that's totally different. If spitting into someone's mouth is EVER acceptable it would be in a Dominant/Submissive scene...and with consent. Some submissives want to be totally degraded, humiliated, etc. I'm sure you all know that. However, to do such a thing to anyone without first gaining their permission is completely wrong in my book.

For me spitting at someone or on the ground generally and especially in the mouth is close to scat and snot as things that I consider extremely gross and are therefore not something I'm into at all.

To each his own - spitting is not for me. Porn actors often use spit as a lube for anal sex which I think is pretty inefficient. This doesn't follow the rule of using LOTS of lube. I suspect they have already stretched out and lubed up internally before the shoot.
