Castor Oil vs Magnesium Citrate

Castor oil clears the system in about 12 hours.

Magnesium citrate, on the other hand, starts working in about 90 minutes on an empty stomach. It has done it's work in about 6 hours, and is gone in 8-10 hours.

Which is in your opinion more efficient to cleanse the bowels completely: Magnesium citrate or Castor Oil?

My wife will give me 5 oz of magnesium citrate for 3-4 nights when i start getting constipated. she'll have me take it about bed time, does its thing over night and usually runs out in the morning.

I find results vary. When I take castor oil it will work in 1 to 4 hours, occasionally 6 or more, then the results go for hours, with repeated loose movements, some with no warning. When Fleet Oral was available it worked in half to one hour and there was no holding back. It was gone in a few hours, where castor oil can linger. I took castor oil a few days ago in the evening and it worked all night, then a couple times the next day. The next night about 3 AM I suddenly had to go again and couldn't get to the bathroom on time, I have never had such a strong urge. Fortunately I had a diaper on.

Which cleans one out more? Good question, but it seems Mag cit, similar to Fleet, cleans you out thoroughly and quickly, where as castor oil just keeps cleaning you out for a day or two.

There is a reason why castor oil has been used for punishment and torture lol. However, as badgerbeth indicates, for a masochist taking or being administered castor oil might be ecstacy. I wish I could find a dominant woman who would administer it to me and enjoy my suffering.

Taking castor oil has always seemed more like a dom/sub or parent/child forced thing while magnesium citrate seems a more gentle, doctor ordered or medical prep kind of thing. I grew up with grandma administering a spring purge to everyone where we all got a dose of the foul-tasting, slimy oil. It was disgusting and barely tolerable but at least I saw my mom and dad take their dose as well. Grandma even took one herself. I was too young to appreciate any sexual submission in it then but do now looking back on it. It was a miserable couple of hours waiting for it to work. I hated burps tasting of the oil and then a gradual feeling of heaviness building in my stomach. It wasn't horrible at first but kept building and I knew the result would be inevitable. I hated the cramps it gave and the multiple trips to the toilet and occasionally even having to use a bedpan because someone else was on both of the toilets. But it now seems so submissive to look back on that healthful suffering. I do enjoy the thought of several people getting together and taking their castor oil together and sharing the fun.

I guess everyone reacts differently, but I find when the castor oil is mixed well ("stirred, not shaken") with equal parts of orange juice and swallowed without stopping, then wiping off the oil off the mouth, followed by a chewy candy, there is no aftertaste or unpleasantness.

I find the burps after castor oil to be worse than the first taking it. The flavor keeps coming back until the oil finally kicks in. The best way I've found to disguise the taste is with chocolate milk. Mix 2oz of oil with 2oz of strong chocolate milk, stir vigorously and drink immediately in as few swallows as possible. Follow with another 2oz of strong chocolate milk and the flavor will be gone from your mouth along with the oiliness. If it was not for the burps I would use castor oil more frequently. It is an excellent way to show domination or punish an unruly sub.

Citrate of Magnesia is really quicker to start but sometimes it to hangs on for hours. For a more rapid and complete expulsion take two Dulcolax tablets with the citrate. The citrate goes through the small intestine flushing it as it goes and when the Dulcolax reaches the large intestine it propels everything out rapidly. Expect strong movements without much warning. You can try using more Dulcolax but expect more cramping and uncontrollable movements. Excellent for a diapered sub!

Stephen if punishment or domination is the goal, why try to disguise the taste? Let the sub experience the unpleasant taste and texture until the castor oil kicks in. You say that "if it was not for the burps I would use castor oil more frequently." I guess you show some mercy with a sub, even if administering castor oil (or are you speaking of self-administration?)
