Does anyone use baby powder? Does it cut down on sweating?

I use J&J baby powder(corn starchtype) but mostle to keep the diaper rash away if I can't change out my wet cloth dia[pers and plastic pants right away.

It will cut down on sweating. The powder is meant to take moisture away from your skin. This includes sweat, pee (specifically) and any other liquids. Once it is used up though liquids touch your skin again if the diaper's still tight. But a lot of it will prolong your time in a diaper and keep your skin healthy.

Anyhow, i've used johnson's powder. Haven not used any other kind but so far it smells good and works apparantly since i have not had any rashes yet, even being in a wet one for 15 hours (overnight too) and being very new to diapers. My skin is defiantly not rash exposed yet.

I use the good ol fashioned Johnson and Johnson baby powder. It feels great sprinkling it on and rubbing it in.

I wear cloth diapers and plastic pants. Baby powder really helps with the sweat problem. Does a good job hiding the pee smell too.

I Always use baby power - it helps on preventing rash.

And i love the smell.

I was using powder long before I was put back in diapers. Truely does help keep one much more comfortable when its hot out.

Sure. Its great for diaper use. And I just love the smell. Be careful though if you are using disposables; the powder can hinder the tapes.

Just remember boy and girls, yes powder can and will cut some of the odor down, and also may help prevent diaper rash, however, not so much in men, but especially in women, using too much can and will cause yeast infections. Some of which also depends on how sensitive you are down there in that department.

A couple of other cautions too Mashie.

1. Powder can cause blockage of the ducts leading from the Bartholin glands in females. The resulting abscesses aren't in the least funny.

2. Powder containing talc/talcum has been blamed for ovarian cancer and respiratory disease. Talc is a mineral (silica). Modern powders are of corn starch, so look at the side of the container if its an old one.

I have just taken delivery of a new product from ABUniverse that has that similar smell. Good Old J.&J. baby powder, love that smell. I find it very alluring to smell that on a young lady as well.

The sense of smell for most of us is a very powerful thing, and is currently being discussed in another thread at the moment. It's very interesting to me that one smell for one person can mean this, and for someone else totally mean something else.

I am guessing here since I don't do the AD/AB thing that the smell of baby products either gives you guys a sense of security or turns you on, or maybe both? Am I right in that assumption? Again, I am just guessing since I don't get that, but am trying to lol.

See, for me, the smell of baby products has a totally different effect on me. When I smell especially J and J's baby lotion it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside, makes me want to be pregnant, or be a new mommy again. It makes me want to breast feed someone, lol. And on a few levels, it makes me sad in a way since both my kids are all grown up and it reminds me of how time went by so quickly.

So psychologically speaking, it's so interesting to me how different prople can smell the same thing, and it have totally different meanings.

(Takes the bottle of powder and pours it over himself). Hey mashy i got a new cologne come her and smell it lol!! wow that was easy mash lol. Yes it has different meaning for all of us. The smell to me just seems to be very clean and pure and babyish. I wont say a turn on but def. makes me want to diaper up for some reason.

You guys both crack me up. lol. But it's true, the smell of baby products makes me want to snuggle and cuddle and start talking all baby talk, even though I never allowed that with my kids, and didn't talk that way with them. Now, I don't know, it's different, I'm older I guess?

Mash if you want to cuddle me and take care of me then have at it lol!!! I will wear as much baby powder as you put on me. I am man enough to smell like a baby. And if you happen to baby talk me , dont worry i wont tell your kids you did .

Baby powder is something I don' skimp on it is always J&J. It is an essential part of putting on or being put in a diaper. It always was and always will be for me.

Well Elf, you better have a camera that can be set up on a tripod type of system because I have two boobies at the milk bar, and currently there isn't a waiting list. So set the camera and belly up to the Mashie milk bar. Two tits, no waiting. lol

Umm I like milk also mashie. But I would still like that nurse uniform on when we do it please lol. Yes I have a nurse fetish, not really a med fetish but deff a nurse fetish . hmmm the good memories of all the cool and great nurses I had over the years. Some were bad most were great and none of em let me die so I guess they were all good in the long run. But the ones who liked me really knew how to take care of me in ways the others couldnt or didnt.

I love it because it's a constant reminder that I've got a diaper on. It doesn't do much for keeping me dry because I'm usually very wet a little while after my diaper is on.

I love to put powder on before I pin on my diaper. I love the baby powder smell. When I smell the baby powder I feel just like a BIG BABY!!

At night, I am sometimes prone to diaper rash from being in really wet night diapers for an extended period of time. Before putting on my night diapers and plastic pants, I always rub some baby oil over my diaper area, and follow up with a liberal dusting of baby powder. This helps to keep the rashes at bay.
