Risks with open Butt plugs

Are there any adverse side effects, to having a butt plug with an openning, if the anal canal gets dry?

I have often wondered the same thing because I love the feeling of my ass "breathing" in and out when I'm hanging wide open.

I'd love to give these a try, I've experienced that breathing sensation during anal play. If I reach in deep with my fingers until my rectum is pulled open, it's easy to suck air into my ass and push it back out. I bet the open butt plugs would make this even easier!

I've used an open plug before, but not for very long (one hour max). I would pay attention to the plug itself: if it's drying out from lack of lube, it's probably time to take it out for a while.

I bought one when I was in Germany in February it's called the "MEO Anal Stretching Ring" and it is amazing - though for me, slightly disappointing. I agree with people that I also fart a lot if I wear an open butt plug... probably lot of air gets sucked in... as the plug is continuously a pacifier for the sweety ass hole....and it keeps sucking it for hours...once I remove the plug the whole day occasionally I have gentle cramps and lots of fart all day long..

I can personally say that the Huse anal stretch rings and anal dilators are great. Both create a similar sensation of being held open, but having both means flexibility. The small hole in the dilators means "things" (poop) can't just fall out in the event it passes into the rectum while you're wearing it, unlike the rings. The wide hole in the rings is great for putting fingers or toys through to tease the rectal tissues.

I tried one. It stained everything, including my clothes and furniture. Might be more fun for a naked weekend, or a few hours of play, but in general it was a fail.

Do an experiment. Insert your tunnel plug and 'back up' to a fan for a while, or better yet have someone use a hair dryer (heat off). I think I'll try that just for the experience. Imagine facing your wide open anus into the chilling gusts of a winter storm. Internal frostbite could be an issue.

I have to try everything once, so I got a transparent, 'fuckable' tunnel plug. They are messy as everyone says. I found some uses for my tunnel plug.

1. With my camera on a tripod in a darkened room with flash and 10-second delay on, I got entertaining pictures of the inside of my rectum.

1. It makes the sub feel so vulnerable and helpless when he or she can't control anal discharge. The cool drafts inside the rectum add to the sense of vulnerability. If you use a 1-inch diameter enema nozzle or colon tube, you can inject an enema through the tunnel plug with little leakage.
