Urethral / Catheter like Electrodes

Suggest super caution in this form of play...using someone else's urethral stim toys is dangerous because of possibility of infection. The stim is hard to clean...you can't autoclave it because of the wiring and wet sterilization will seep through some of the rubber spacers/gaskets. Buy your own, they are not that expensive, and just fine some one that has the right hook up box for the play session.

Foley catheter is rubber or silicone and non-conductive. there are urethral probes that are insertable into the urethra. any of the well known estim suppliers have these.

Indeed, PES makes probes that are non conductibe along the shaft thats inserted into the urethrea, but are conductive at the tip which dwels in the prostate!

To make it even better those 'lectrods also have a nice cock cap to deliver stimulation to the head of the penis quite effectively!

This is all new to me but the previous posters who said the foley catheter was nonconductive and therefore could not possibily be used for electro stimulation were absolutely correct. I think a sound used in conjunction with another electrode might do something for you. Once again I have't tried so just a thought.

I am not aware of a catheter that would allow electro stimulation because of the material it is made of. But thanks for the info on the PES probe electrode Fester. I have to check it out as I do enjoy electro stimulation on myself as well as my partner.

In an effort to find an electrode that would be able to pass thru the curve at the bottom of my urethra and slide in far enough to get into the area of the prostate I ordered a Folsom e-stim catheter. It is made of a very flexible yet conductive material. It was described as 8.25" insertable length, but it only measures a little over six, not nearly long enough. Has anyone found a similar unit in a longer configuration? I'm thinking that something 10 to 12 inches long would be more effective. I've tried several solid probes, but they can only go in as far as the curve.

What about using a curved sound?

I would agree with experimenting with sounds rather than venturing into unknown, and potentially unsafe realms.

I also have one of the P.E.S. 'catheter' probes, but what I have found is that, from how it seems to function, a longer probe wouldn't make a difference anyway as the electricity seems to spread through the probe rather than focus on the tip-which would ultimately be your goal, I assume.

Perhaps strategic placement of a probe up the bum as well as one either in the urethra or around that area might prove better results than focusing on the urethra alone.

Wow I never saw anything like that before so i bookmarked the page to check it out later. I have never tried electro before but it has my interest. There is a lot of interesting information on this site. I,m glad to see there are other people like me.

I agree with some of the other comments. The penile insert from PES is great even though its stimulation is completely in the penis. When I want prostate stim, I use an anal stimulator in connection with the penile probe. That works great.

I don't know if it helps but 6.5 mm (1/4") diameter conductive rubber tubing is available on ebay UK. The tube has an internal diameter of 3.5 mm and is sold for £5 per foot.

The slim and big jim both are 2 pole one at the tip and one at the other end not the middle, but these probes are realitvly short not nearly enough to get into the prostate. I want to get one and try it with the prostate stimulator. I tried a anal tube one they had but it didn't even come close to the prostate from that end. I have tried sounds before thinking about making one like ajelec posted.

A foley cath is of course not goint to conduct but what is normally in the cath will. At least thats what I'm thingking as I sit here with a cath in place under my diaper. but the wife is home so no testing this today.

Absolutely.

You can use a rosebud sound and use heat shrink tubing to cover the thin part of the sound and connect the wire lead to the handle on the sound. Have a second unipolar probe up your butt.

This works very well for my husband.

As an alternative, you do not need the heat shrink tubing on the rosebud sound and the current will simply flow through the entire penis to the prostate.

Rimba also has a bipolar sound that you insert well into the urethra and the circuit basically goes from the prostatic part of the urethra to the glans area. My husband likes that one too.

There are also conductive silicone "catheters" made by PES I believe. We got those years ago, so you can check the PES website to check it out.

I have done this as well with my electro sound

I made an insulator sleeve from shrink tubing for my 16fr urethral sound which insulates all but the tip of the sound to concentrate the current through my prostate using an anal electrode. A good pulsing current will make me explode.

When using sounds for estim purposes are there any brand, shape or style that are better than others? Is it safe to purchase these from ebay or is it necessary to purchased them brand new?

Just found my way back to this forum again sounds from eBay are not a problem as long as you sterilize them properly I'm not talking about using rubbing alcohol they need to be put in an autoclave. I recently purchased an E-stim Systems 2B Power Box from the UK. They sell stainless steel sounds in four different styles. The cords are totally removable and the sounds can be boiled for sterilization. E-stim makes fantastic products.

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered one and hope to have it soon. I have bought from Happystim before and always was well satisfied. I use a box from E-Stim, their model 2-B, for the control and have a variety of insertables from them and PES. I always enjoy sounds while stimming, so I can't wait to try this. BTW, try a Stanley regular or Junior from Happystim. They are a large acrylic 4 pole plug that will drive you out of your mind with crazy sensation.

This urethral sound is fabulous!! I received mine last week and spent 90 minutes with it inserted while also having a E-Stim flange solid metal bipolar plug in my ass. Amazon is now selling a urethral estim probe made of conductive rubber. 5.1 mm thick ( .2 inch or about 16 french) and 265 mm long (about 10.5 inches). Two cautions: It ships from China, and the pins that plug into a tens unit were too small to fit my unit. I cut the wire and attached a plug that did fit. It is single pole so it requires another ring, patch, plug or other attachment. I did get a hand free orgasm, but I still don't like the burning the next 2 or 3 times I pee that seems to go with urethral stimulation.
