Inexpensive ways to get started with e-stim

Hello all, just found this place and am glad to be here. One of the cheapest ways to get started is to find an old 4 channel battery powered relax a cizor on ebay. I paid $10 for mine. The battery can be replaced with an 12 volt ac abdapter. The unit was designed to pulse on and off and exercize muscles. If you handy with electronics, you can modify the unit to mantain a constant voltage by simply pulling out one of the 4 small transisters . You can also varry the sensations by changing out capacitors. I have had a lot of fun with mine over the years. I also have a promtec electrostim. It is more or less a two channel chiroparactic tens unit and muscle stimulator . Cost me $20 on ebay. You can adjust the pulse with, frequency, duration, on off cycle times, and it has a safey limiter control you can adjust. THis thing is way too powerfull, So it may not be a good idea for beguiners. I use it on my wife when She has been a good girl. Slightesttouch.com sells a electro stim device for women that has pads that attaches to the inside of the ankles. Gave me a great idea, since I things in my toy box that could do the same thing. My wife loved it. Unfortunatley, it does not do much for guys. Always looking for new things to try. Violet wands are interesting, but I dont like anything ac powered

I like med-fet, but I wanted to improve my self-plays with electrostimulation.

I made a simply device able to produce signal from 1 to 20.000 hz with variable output current and variable duty-cycle.

I tried varius frequencies... and in conclusion I suprised noted that the best was some simply short (small duty cycle) pulses 0,5 - 1 Hz.

But it was several years ago, when there were not special devices in shops in my country and I did not know the Smartstim pages.

Even it is possible to make a very simple e-shock-pulse device with only 4 parts (battery, switch, classic ac/ac transformer, potentiometer), but it is perhaps useless in current time with a lot of cheap e-stim devices in stores.

I built on of the units with directions from Smartstim and I have been using it for years. I wanted to try a commercial unit but they are too expensive so I found several on Craigslist here in the Los Angeles area.
