Memories of seeing Enema Equipment

Many times if was upstairs in neighbor's house the red bag was hanging on the bathroom door. seemed to me someone was going or just got an enema??

.

@efun42 or douche

Remember as a child going to a Xmas party a relative opening his present, an enema bag, thought that was strange, but what would I know, guess that's how enemas were in the '50's,

Pecan younger people have no clue as to how common douching was in years past. I might guess easily as frequent as enemas.

Douche equipment was very common in sorority house and female dorm bathrooms back in the 1970s. While it was not left in the communal bathrooms seeing someone filling or rinsing one out at the sink was often to be seen.

The first time I recall seeing any eqiupmant on dispaly was in a UK pharmacy chain Timothy White's shop. A display case feauterd a perfection bedpan and a higginson syringe. I was probably around 12 years old. It re-awakened memories of the visits I had had a few years earlier from the distrct nurse and set me on the road to klismaphilia. Occasionaly you would see a higginson syringe on display in a pharmacy shop window in the fifties.

Seen enema equipment in my grandparents house it was stored in the bathroom, enema bulb with soft nozzle on the window sill, still could see brown marking on the tip, enema bag was hanging in the bathroom, but don't exactly remember the place. Saw enema bulb at neighbours house next to the window on the stairs. Saw enema bulb in the school nurse office and one enema bulb even at office of eye doctor, not sure what it was used for.

As we have talked many of our experiences are similar; however, in my sorority handheld douche bulbs were far more commonplace than douche/enema bags. My roommate for 3 of my 4 years in college used to have a habit of leaving her bulb out in the open like on her dresser or the top of her Chesterdoors. I used to verbally chastise her for her indiscretion. "Betsy, why don't just put a neon sign on your back that you just got laid!" LOL!

@ddell2 Did she douche to flush out semen just because it's oozing, or did she use a contraceptive method (such as diaphragm) for which douching helps?

Mom's red Davol Comfy open top hung in the bathroom linen closet with the nozzle tucked in the top. After she started giving me enemas at an early age I would get hard just looking at it and would always feel the bag on the out to see if she had given herself an enema or if she had douched. Later I knew because I watched her give to herself. Mmmmmmm.....

At this point in my life, it seems as though all I have are distant memories. Many are quite significant however, and still bring a grin to my psyche. It was not uncommon over my lifetime to be in various homes, apartments, thrift shops, hospitals, clinics, and drug stores where enema and douching gear was displayed or stored in areas that permitted viewing of such things. Spying something of that nature certainly triggered some involuntary reactions. The opportunity to have a conversation or interaction was always a wonderful thing!

I have posted in other threads about overhearing conversations regarding enemas or douching, and some of those events resulted in my observations of the various rubber or disposable equipment. The most rewarding were those where some beautiful vintage items were hanging around drying or about to be utilized. If they were about to be utilized on me, I was in 7th heaven...or at least enema heaven!

Mom always removed the black curved douche nozzle from the hose and bag that was stored in the hallway closet under several piles of towels as she knew if it wasn’t hidden i would have it in my rectum if i found it!,it was like a game we played !,i would spend hours looking around for that nozzle!,just the feeling of it sliding in and out of my rectum would cause intense orgasms! I’m not sure why i just didn’t whiddle a likeness of it out of a tree branch ?, I have about 10 of those old curved douche nozzles today that i have found on ebay or etsy and still get intense orgasms using them!

My mother was into giving enemas and would her friends that either rhey or one of there children needed an enema. I would see the enema bag with the vasoline all the time in the bathroom cuppard

My mom would would always leave the bulb syringe on the small table after use to dry. She also left the enema bag and hose out to dry in the bathroom on a hanger that was over the shower head. I remember on a number occasions going over to a few friends houses and I saw the bag and hose hanging or the bulb syringe out. I also remember going over to my grandmother's house and seeing the red bulb in her bathroom drying. I would say it had been used on my uncle who was a few years older than me. This was in the 60s when I grew up.

Betsy used a diaphragm for birth control..

Speaking of birth control or contraception, it was a few years into my early attraction to those beautiful rubber implements and attached appendages, that I became aware of the use for something other than enemas.

After finding mom's diaphragm and the plunger style nozzle for injecting cream or jelly, it finally made some sense. Some of the available literature was quite educational for a young budding klismaphile who became quite knowledgable without the typical "birds and bees" talks with mom or dad.

It never mattered afterwards, if that equipment delivered a solution into the rectal or vaginal orafice. Either was just as sexy and triggered those involuntary reactions. It was quite sometime later, that a bladder enema or irrigation, enlightened me to a third method of delivering liquid into the body. Thankfully it was sterile, but the gravity operation was very similar!

I'd be interested in seeing plungers etc for injecting contraceptive cream or jelly. The only ones I've seen in real life were 90s KY+ lubricant spermicide.

I stayed overnight at a high school friend's house and found a red enema bag, hose and nozzle in the drawer. Coulda woulda shouda haha.

…Coulda woulda shouda haha.

@enemale24

😂😂😂😂

…so nice…

When I was a kid, it wasn’t unusual to see enema or douche syringes in the bathroom. Not much to see these days, for two reasons. First, enemas and douches are not used by as many people as years ago. Second, In the area and time where I grew up the bathroom was often shared by both the residents and visitors. Now, most homes have a private bathroom off of the main bedroom so if there is any enema equipment a visitor is not likely to see it.

Growing up in the nineteen fifties, most houses only had one bathroom. So consequently, it wasn’t uncommon to see douche/enema bags hanging in someone’s bathroom. Enemas and douching were commonplace back then; so, the practice was common. In fact, it was so common, that most all families had them. Mom’s douched and gave themselves enemas during their period. They also gave their kids enemas, because doctors of the day prescribed enemas for various reasons. Especially when kids were home sick in bed, daily enemas were prescribed. As kids reached their preteens, both boys and girls were taught to give themselves enemas, and girls were taught to douche. Like most things from the nineteen fifties, that practice has passed into history, like the Dodo Bird.

I always remember seeing an Amber folding syringe hanging in my sister's bathroom.I was often tempted To try it out But was afraid I would get caught in the act.

I always checked out the bathrooms when visiting friends and family. One time when visiting a girlfriends family I found a lovely aqua open top bag with the enema nozzle attached. I was spending the weekend so I told them I was going to take a "long bath". I gave that aqua bag a test drive and it was a memorable afternoon. I never told her how much I enjoyed that special weekend

Many many years ago I used to work at Mass-General in Boston - I was in IT. I had quite a few kinky friends back in the day but all were totally professional at work. I vividly recall going thru the X-Ray dept. and seeing two 2 liter bags filled completely with barium solution hanging on a roller style IV stand. I still get a tingle thinking about it. And yes one of my kinky x-ray technician friends always had a 'spare' bag or two with the inflatable balloon nozzle available for special friends. Back then they also had an inflatable rectal balloon (not nozzle) available.

Does the mere sight of enema equipment somehow excite you? If so, you are a true klismo.

I grew up seeing the enema and douche equipment out to dry in the bathroom usually on the counter or hanging out on the towel rack. Forbidden to touch or ask, it was reserved for the females of the household.

Almost every time we went to visit my aunt and uncle I would see the enema bag hanging in the shower, with the enema tip on. They also had a fairly large enema bulb under the sink. I’ve always wondered if and how many of those time my cute cousin with an adorable butt had gotten an enema the night before!! One day I really need to raise the subject so I can know for sure!!
