Safety is relevant.
Jumping from an Airplane is stupid, do it with a Parachute and now it's Skydiving.
Driving 100+ miles per hour... stupid... or car racing.
Hooking your family jewels to the nearest electrical outlet... stupid.
Using equipment made to stimulate nerves or muscles, to stimulate THOSE nerves and muscles, is E-Stimming.
Simple things to consider.
- Start Slow, hook it up, turn it all the way down, THEN turn it on and slllllooooowwwwllllyyy add power. Experiment, Play, Ask Questions of Knowledgeable People.
- Nerve and Muscle Stimulation is, nearly, the same equipment.
- Big pads = more muscle/less nerve
- Little pads = more nerves/less muscle
Either way you can't help it if you work a muscle you will stim some nerves, and if you work nerves you will stim some muscle.
- Stay below the waist, the heart can get fucked up faster than you can blink, and dead is bad imho.
- The next biggest danger in eStiming is the tendance to add more power, your nerves adjust, just like you tune out a bad smell over time, your nerves stop feeling the power. You add more, the sensation dulls, you add more, etc.
- Allow yourself to recuperate between sessions (days not hours), Turn it off if you are pushing to hard try again tomorrow.
- A little practice, and careful planning will go a long way for this
