Interesting personalized license plate

Interesting personalized license plate. I fell in behind a car a few days ago a lady was driving with license plates that read ( 1QTNRSE).Did that mean one cute nurse or 1 quart nurse. Of course I liked what I was thinking.

For those enough to remember the Sherema Clinic in Los Angeles, you might remember that the clinic owner, Sherri Taylor had a licence plate that read "Sherema"...that was in the 1970's..It's hard to believe that there was a real clinic where you could go to give and to receive real enemas from real people....

Have a friend that has one that is "NOTANLN" has nothing to do about enemas, but it sparks attention.

Over the years I have seen licence plates in several states that include the letters NMA. Appeared not to be customized plates.

Local here theres. lv2crop ... and my mind always goes to a riding crop hitting naughty areas.

You can bet your bippy that it was there. I was too; but when I visited, it may be that I did not have the strength of my conviction to explore, or there was something amiss that day.

However, I have to think that in L A, as well as in S F and NYC, coupled with most any major city in these United States, that if a diligent search is performed, you will find a qualified person who will give you an enema. To find someone that will accept? Well, that may be the bigger challenge.

Now ~ go out and make it a gr8 day!

I went to Sherema's a few times and was seeing Sherri at Dee's Physical Therapy for enemas before she opened Sheremas. It was quite erotic!

Having grown up in L.A. during/after WWII, I can vouch for the clinics. Sherema wasn't alone.

Usually the word "Colonic" was the headliner on a sign with "Enemas" right under it. Same for the advertising. The Daily News tabloid usually had a quarter page with clinic ads.

Most of the action was downtown on Main or Los Angeles Sts. Some were in major office buildings so one could get cleaned out before or after a 'messy' or frustrating business meeting 😃

For quite some time I've wanted to see if I could get PNUSNV past the state DMV…one if these days I'll try!!

Personalised plates have been on offer for many many years here & some are very well thought out … There is a premium attached though & some as you'd imagine are prohibited

Some can be rather “out there” with others configured to identify say a muscle car or it's designation … such as XU-1or GTHO-351or HG-350 & HOEY none of which are suggestive

Then there's the Plates that leave one in no doubt what its owner wishes to convey. One being the well known owner of a vibrant flouro pink Lamborghini Countach that simply says “Pussy1” in capital letters and another reads … 2 HOT4U & this one WETDRM … and SEXYGRL from WA …. btw she's a, or was a lady of dubious means that allegedly was on speed dial to some of the states …. um … city father's / members in public office … Her wheels a Mercedes sports … arse with class !!

They rarely change hands & if they do some attract considerable prices

Very early State Plates in their original colours & of good condition command top money … serious, serious thousands

Addendum:

One of my own all time favourites is … 69 HOEY … as it can be taken any way one chooses … We all know what a 69 is (I hope) & a HO … its not a Ho down …. 1 + 1

1969 was the year of the mighty GTHO Phase1 351 GT of which just 662 were produced & 50 of those were what's called Bathurst models (sold to dealer racing teams) that were fitted with long range fuel tanks & particular body markings. They (Bathurst models) now command prices north of 1 Million dollars …. originally priced just over $5,000 in road going trim, with the fire breathing Bathurst special “HOEYS” tipping out just over $6,000

I thought it a good one to resurrect though as a number of zity members from different countries may have interesting plate combinations to add to our library of knowledge 😁

Nice find! Most of the time I enjoy vanity plates and I’ve seen some good ones over the years but none about enemas I recall. I’ll keep the little gray cells on it and see if I can dredge up any good ones. Thank you guys for restarting this one from the dust bin.

I have personalized plates on just about all my cars. All cars also have special designs that I change typically once a year or more. I’ve never thought to put something related to enemas or medical stuff though haha. Not sure Virginia would like that too well haha. Plus that would be embarrassing.

While driving home from work, circa 1982, the car in front had a Virginia vanity plate with, “TIH2 WA”. Over the course of a month I would see the plate again about twice a week when commuting. Then there was a television news story about a Mom of two young boys who rattled Virginia DMVs cage about the disgusting license plate her boys pointed out. Seems the two boys were setting in the back seat of the car and one boy asks, “Mom, what does ”Aw Shit" mean? Startled she ask him where he heard the expression. Her son replied he saw it in the rear view mirror on the license plate on the car behind them. She looked and sure enough, there it was.

A few days later I spotted the driver with the now missing vanity plate in the same car, but with a regular plate. According to the news report, DMV recalled the plate.

I believe a Urologist in Orange County, Ca, in the 80s, had DICDOC..

I feel 1QT definitely refers to the enema volume. How about the license plate on Kramer's car in an old Seinfeld… ASSMAN!
