i have a question to all here:

what kind of equipment you have to live out your medical fetishes?

I wish I could give you a complete inventory but my partner and I have a footlocker full of "stuff" including a lot of stainless steel specula (for use on "he" and "she"), all kinds of enema equipment and nozzles including a double balloon rectal catheter and a Higginson syringe, and plenty of catheter and bladder irrigation supplies in a wide variety of sizes. We also have an assortment of dildos, strap-on implements, a feeldoe, butt plugs, etc., and a good selection of estim equipment. We also have several sets of scrubs and a couple of hospital gowns.

Out of all our equipment, my favorite item would have to be the pair of stainless steel chopsticks I bought for us last Valentine's Day! Oh, what he can do with those chopsticks!

Well, I have stainless steel Speculums -small, med, large, stainless 2 and 3 prong anal speculum, anoscope, urethral dilators, urinal, tens unit, glass thermometers, blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, Welch Allyn otoscope, enema kit with 3 different nozzles. Attire includes full Doc outfit with white lab coat and surgery masks, patient outfits with gowns.

Who needs an exam near Central Illinois?

Items Most used.

Stainless steel items:

2 Graves speculum, 1 dilator w/embedded graduations from 20 - 50, restored antique Pratt speculum, 3 different lengths of ano/proctoscopes (1 of which can be and is often adapted for deep enema fills), 2 different sounds that will double for e-stim.

E-stim:

1 Portable Bodi-Tek 9 volt hand held unit with variable intensity & frequency controls, sticky e-stim pads, 2 different sizes electro plugs, 1 functioning McINTOSH J shaped electro sound.

Thermometers:

Assorted diameter/lengths, from standard rectal to 17+", close to 16 in all, including 1 digital which is rarely used.

Enema:

2 arm adjustable IV stand w/casters, over 1 dozen bags including one 4 gallon collapsible for uninterrupted repeat or long slow fills, 2 penis nozzles. Good assortment of nozzles, favoring gentle fluted black douche nozzles of standard & large diameter including a functioning antique (one of my favorites) "whirl spray" designed for bag/bulb use, 3 or 4 not often used bulbs, 1 higginson assembly, 4 colon tubes, 1 plug nozzle. Three different rectal plugs for retention, 1 glass, 1 inflatable, another inflatable that is useless and will not stay inflated brand new out of the box.

Clothing:

3 different sets of clinic/office/O.R./nurse style scrubs. Most often, we are both nude being that there is more often than not, passionate lovemaking involved/desired by both of us, if the scenario/foreplay goes in that direction, they are readily at hand.

One working EKG/DEFIB unit, few stethoscopes, ambu-bag, two bp cuffs, two exam gowns , scrubs, clogs , gel thats about it for now , looking to add with time and money permits

Hopefully it is not working. To even consider going anywhere near any normal healthy person with a working defibrillator is utterly insane.

Unless you have a good working knowledge of biomedical electronics with access to schematics allowing you to disable the discharge capacitor circuitry, you should find a qualified technician to do it for you (tell them it is a movie prop), or else consider it as a nice piece of industrial art which you stand back and admire from a safe distance.

You should also expect extreme legal consequences in the event the unit does malfunction while you have it connected to someone, for both you, as well as the person who sold it to you. If you are considering buying an EKG it could prove to be a very educational experience, but stay away from any unit which has an integrated defibrillator. A reputable dealer will need to establish your credentials before selling to you, and if they are doing their part they won't sell it to you unless you are qualified.

Very very good point! My fingers are crossed that he is qualified. If not and it is used on a healthy pt, consequences could be seriously catastrophic.

Qualified or not, the defibrillator must be disabled or you risk an extreme hazard. It was the term "working defibrillator" that scared the hell out of me.

As a former electronics technician in the Air Force, then the Navy, and now part time contract tech in the civilian sector, I have had more than once worked on defib equipment. I also had more than casual acquaintance with people in the medical community, suffice it to say having a functioning defibrillator in the hands of a medfet player is cause for concern......flat out dangerous. As part of my med play activities, I sometimes use very light e-stim. It is always below the navel, low voltage(9 volts or lower), low amperage (low current), and always keep to the genitals or rectum and surrounding areas, whether partnered or solo....no exceptions.

Monitors....yes. Defibrillator....NO WAY.

Having dealt with so much RF equipment in your career, I am surprised you mentioned only voltage and current, and not frequency. Defibrillators deliver a (square wave) flat un-modulated current of variable amplitude which causes a clamping action of the heart for a set duration, typically in milliseconds. Low voltage biomedical devices such as TENS/EMS emit a (sine wave or sawtooth) modulated current at frequencies far above the normal heart rhythm, and when applied correctly, will not interfere with normal cardiac function.

Correct, I did think about that, and, in pursuit of keeping it simple, I favored a relatively straightforward statement being that not all in our community have detailed knowledge & understanding of the actual 'why' of defib equipment. My intent is/was to communicate that play with such devices is considered dangerous and runs a high risk of being life threatening.

I have a fairly large equipment inventory. The basic stethoscope, gowns,thermometers some of which are used anally and digital ones that are used in the urethra. I have stainless steel speculums both for vagina and also anus. Three pronged speculum for the anus. I have anuscopes, urethral dilators,syringes for injecting lube into the anus. I also use urethral catheters but I usually don't keep them on hand because the packages are dated. I order them as needed. Last I have an assortment of enems nozzles including inflatables.

Question,

Has anyone ever seen,heard of, know anything about or possibly know of a website regarding an older(circa late 70's early solid state) 'ACUFLEX' T.E.N.S. unit? It is battery operated, using 2 nine volt and 8 c batteries. I acquired it last weekend and it needs some minor repair, which I am certified and capable of doing. It has absolutely no model number on it, or evidence of it being removed. There is a service tag inside from a company in the local area that has not been in business since the early 80's, dead end there, I googled it every which way using different sear engines and parameters and only came up with references to excersize equipment and the lead that told me the service company was no longer in existence.

I am looking specifically for tech specs such as schematic diagram/repair manual and /or operators manual, links to organizations or individuals who do. The repairs are quite simple, just re-soldering the wires from the battery power supply board to the main board in the proper sequence so as not to miss wire it. Any useful leads or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

There were numerous units produced in the 1970-80's, primarily from Europe. Slendertone Gymbody was a popular and reputable brand, however there were many which were assembled with off the shelf hobbyist components including the case. Some were high end rack mounted designs for Spa use of highest (German and Dutch) quality, but many were sloppy "home" units very crude in manufacture with solder bridges and cold solder joints as a common defect. The majority of battery powered units escaped UL and FDA approval at the time as they were largely sold by foreign mail-order companies to private individuals. If you can source schematics for a Slendertone GB Analog system they will give a good idea of how the basic RC circuitry works, and there were few deviations from the basic with most no-name units. You may also research back issues of Popular Electronics from that era, I recall they had a few articles dedicated to biomedical and they may have had project plans to build an EMS unit.

Caveat Emptor

Tech suggestion - Use a fresh or fully thawed roast as your test load (insert test leads directly at opposite ends), with an oscilloscope to check outputs. If you have a multi-channel unit under test, connect all outputs simultaneously for an accurate load simulation. If it helps to sort out your wiring issues, you may have already deduced that the 9V is supplying the timing and waveform circuitry (if it uses TTL 7400 logic there will be a 5V regulator with 9V batteries in parallel, CMOS using a 12V regulator with 18V input), typically driving an SCR or power transistor on each channel for output control, and the 12V from the C-cells is supplying charge to one or more electrolytic capacitors for the power output. I think only stethoscope, exam gloves, reflex hammer, a sitting stool, and lubricant are necessary. If you want to add other items, add a blood pressure cuff, the scope for eye and ear exams, a long white coat, and a step stool for the patient to mount for the genital and hernia exams. If you want to have a table, a portable massage table makes a realistic exam table. Have the patient strip to his underpants(wearing absolutely nothing else--no watch, jewelry, socks). Place the step stool at the side of the exam table. Stand during the exam until you are ready to examine the genitalia and then sit on the sitting stool.
