Anal Hooks

Anyone with any experience of helping a sub to maintain a very erect posture, with the chest lifted high and a backward arch to the upper spine?

One idea I came across was using an anal hook tied to the hair or neck, preventing a forward stoop.

Bound elbows help as well, but I'm wondering if the anal hook trains muscles more?

I have actually been trained with the anal hook for posture. My former Dominant also had a leather posture collar with a D ring on the back of it, which made an excellent attachment point for the rope tied to the hook.

Also, in my experience, i have learned that the regular anal hook works better than the anal hook with the ball. The regular anal hook seems to have a better shape making it contour to the body better. The quality of the anal hook with the ball seemed a bit shoddy to me. the actual hook part was thinner than the regular hook, and the ball on the one i had was actually REALLY HUGE...lol. It caused more problems than benefits. Think of this if you consider ordering the anal hook.

I am thinking of purchasing an anal hook to use on my wife. I am just beginning to explore her bondage sub side of her newly emerging sexuality. We borrowed an anal hook from some friends several years ago while they were away on vacation. It's not something I would do all the time but it was a nice diversion. I have a hook with the ball on the end. Its hard to insert if I havent worn a plug in awhile. Sir slowly warms me up to it by gradually increasing from a small to medium plug and then I can take the hook easily. He has attached it to the sides of my collar with a chain and my hands to the chain in a reverse prayer position. It does force a sub to keep her back arched and maintain position. The hook with the ball can bring very pleasurable sensations and it can also become uncomfortable if one struggles in a predicament bondage scenario.

Looks like a worthwhile toy and I can see where it might cause considerable squirming and an upright posture.

And you can get the balls on the end of the hooks in various sizes which adds to the pleasure as well. And if you are using them to assist in restraint they can be fiendish in a delightful sort of way. But this posture thing sounds like something to investigate.

I like the idea of this as a training device, to show a sub how the posture should be maintained at most times. So, it should be impossible to tell if the hook is being used or not (more ease of movement, of course). Refresher sessions might be needed.

We do not like connecting them to a collar. Too much risk of it turning into breath play or bruising the neck if it gets too tight. Tying the rope to the hair is good or a head narness. Another way we have used them is for anal training. The bottom is retrained with a small dildo attached to the anal hook and the ropes attached to a bit gag. The bottom was spanked and played with until the small dildo was entirely buried in him. The rope has to be tightened as more of the dildo goes in. The dildo was then replaced with a larger one, This continued until he had taken all of a large dildo. He only took about half of it initially but eventially gave himself all of it. I have experienced both types of anal hooks. To start out, I would suggest using the regular anal hook without the ball. Personally, I loved that hook. It felt the best and fit my body the best. The hook with the ball gives a different stimulation. To me? The hook with the ball hurt, so I did not enjoy the activities once it was inserted.

My former Dominant used the regular anal hook to correct my posture, both standing and on all 4s to keep my back arched properly and my breasts pushed out where they belong. He had a black posture collar he would tie the hook to once I was in position, and I would usually also be bound in some other manner and told to 'stay put'. I saw comments suggesting the hook tied to the collar might create a difficulty breathing or cause bruises, but in a posture collar, which is pretty sturdy, I had minimal pressure on my throat and it could always be aleviated by 'standing properly'. I've never been bruised by a collar and anal hook. I don't even see how this would be possible unless it was bound extremely tight.

Anal hooks seem to be the new sensation. I have used both the one with a ball on the hook and the plain ones also.
