Nipple piercing

Can any one tell me the proper way to do nipple piercing and needle? My girl Friend wants me to pierce her nipples.

You should have her see a reputable body piercer.

You don't want to be responsible for a botched job on your girlfriend. You will NEVER live it down.

You can play pierce her some other time, but for a real piercing to hold a piece of body jewelry, have a knowledgeable person do it.

This is not do it yourself piercing. It requires a very experienced piercer to achieve the ultimate erotic effect from these piercings.

Everyone nowadays seems to think they become a piercer and/or a tattoo artist simply by hanging out a shingle. While female nipples are one of the easier piercings to do, proper placement requires knowledge.

A well experienced piercer will achieve the best possible placement and will use an appropriate gauge jewelry. I usually did nipples at 10 or 12 gauges. Rarely would I use something as small as 14 gauge as that is just too small for any but the smallest of female nipples. One of my wife's friends has huge nipples and I did her at 8 gauge, but this is exceptional.

While doing female nipple permanent piercing is quite easy, one should also be aware that these are among the most painful piercings.

Speed

Its one thing to go home one day and simply pierce your own ears, but anything else GO TO A PRO! Seriously do you know the crap that can go wrong? All the infections from equipment alone? Seriously tell them to go to the pro's.

You need to find someone who is a professional at this and will give you references. Also, afterwards you MUST follow the directions to prevent an infection. Going to the MD with you nips infected would be a real bummer LOL

I treated a 20ish female who had her labia pierced. She was reluctant to tell us who did the job, even though she was receiving enough IV MS to weaken the resistance of a trained spy. She was on IV antibiotics for ten days and hospitalized for a total of 14 days. I'll leave it to your ladies to tell us how this infection felt!

Think about it before having a non-professional do a piercing and always follow a professionals advice to prevent infection.

My sister had her nipples pierced and got a raging infection! Trust me it's no fun. Go to a reputable professional and FOLLOW HIS/HER AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!!!!

Most horror stories of infected piercings are from one of three things.

1. Cleaning the piercing too much and too often. I usually suggest cleaning the piercing by lathering up a dilute antibacterial soap and covering the piercing with this lather. I suggest working the jewelry through the piercing while the cleaning agent is on it. Leave the agent in place for 2-3 minutes. Rinse well. Work the jewelry through the piercing to rinse out the cleaning agent. Do this twice a day, every day until the piercing is superficially healed. For example, female nipples will usually require this regimen for 12 weeks or so.

2. Not cleaning the piercing regularly or at all. Duh.

3. Playing with the piercing. Do not handle your piercing, do not let others mess with it unless it is healed.

I did my wife's at home and they are fine but it is best to have a pro do them

Have done several successful home piercings. No infections, no complications. I think the sterility of the needles and environment are key.

I would recomend a reputable piercer at a place of business. Not that some cant do it but it is safer and best left to a pro

I have always been turned by pierced nipples and after asking my wife to have hers pierced, she finally agreed. Perhaps she was just tired my my begging.

We decided to have it done by a professional and after some searching for a reputable piercer, we found one near our home. We made an appointment for 11 AM and once there had to fill out and sign all of the usual legal disclosures. Our piercer was a woman, Rita, about 40 years old. She told us she had been doing this for about 10 years and had a few discretionary ones herself, including her nipples - keeping jewelry in 24/7. She discussed what type of jewelry we wanted and how large the actual piercings. We decided on using various jewelry - barbells, rings and shields, so Rita suggested a horizontal piercing with medium sized bar. After all this she gave us a small tube of 5% xylocaine and some saran wrap, telling my wife to liberally smear the numbing ointment over her nipples and areolas, cover with the saran wrap inside her bra and return at 1 o'clock.

We went for a walk and had a coffee at Starbucks down the street. This waiting, seemed to calm my wife, but made me all the more excited and horny. Returning to the studio, Rita took us into the piercing room, had my wife remove her blouse and bra and put a piercing clanp on her right nipple. As planned, she felt nothing, thanks to the cream application. Rita then sterilized both nipples with betadine soap, then an alcohol wash to remove the residual betadine. Then, with a 14 gauge hollow needle, she applied the clamp at the base of each nipple and went through horizontally. Rita then threaded a 16 gauge stainless bar through the hollow needle, removing the needle in one motion. Small beads were then threaded onto each side of the bar. There was no pain and only a drop of blood involved. After instructions on post op care, we left and went home. For the next several weeks, it was my job twice a day to gently clean the piercings with peroxide, apply neosporin ointment, then help my wife into a soft cupped bra with a clean nursing pad inside. After successful healing we returned to Rita and picked out several pieces of nipple jewelry. One pair was an expensive bar with diamond studs; another was a colored jeweled ring with the anchoring bar across, and a tiered shield with the bar securing the nipple about 2 cm above the circular base that rests on the areola.

She never removes her piercings, except to clean herself and change the piercings. At night she wears the smaller diamond bar because it is comfortable when she is sleeping on her stomach. I especially like the shield because it forces her nipple outward, making it quite visible even through a sheer bra and sweater or blouse. We have a couple nipple cut out bras bought from Cameo Intimates. The shield fills the cut out and looks very sexy. Again with enough begging, she will wear one of these bras out for the evening under a clingy top. Needless to say she receives a lot of stares.

There is lots of info. about the proper way to do piercing. I would not pierce anything that others haven't already piercing. I did my girl friend nipples. Placement was very important as I've seen a lot of then that don't lay straight, to deep, etc. Keeping things clean is a must. One of the most interesting things I've even done.

My wife has been trying to get me to pierce my nipples for years I'm a big chicken about it .my question is how bad does it hurt to have done and how long is the healing process if someone out here can answer that for me would be a big help maybe ill have it done

Well it all boils down to if you want it then get them pierced if you don't like them then take them out. My wife has hers done and I have a pa the wife at first didn't want me to get it but after I got it she found out she loved it. All I can say is you only live once

Oh please go to a reputable professional. Gets references. Even then they can be too deep, like my were, went through a duct and after a year never healed correctly, had to remove them.

My advice is to go to a professional with a good reputation. This was by far the most painful piercing I have had done. Follow their advice for the aftercare to avoid infections.

I have had my nipples pierced it didnt hurt but done by pro piercers i wouldnt let some rank amatuer do it,no way jose.

No piercings or tattoos for me. Back in the 1970's there was a person who used to pierce ears and noses for a consideration in the telephone box outside the town swimming pool. Goodness knows how many nasty infections resulted from that amateur! Each to their own though I suppose.

Like everyone else I would suggest going to an expert for this. Last thing you want to do is mess up and either go too shallow or too deep with doing this and not to mention infection risks as well.

I have both a PA and a Frenum piercing and I frequently play pierce my glans and nipples. I have found nipple piercing to be much more painful than the penis head piercings. In play piercing, the needles are removed and the holes allowed to heal

Oh no this is not for me! I do not even like to think about it. I like my nipples unpierced and my husband does too. Oh and it would be no good because any piercing would get in the way of my husband's magic fingers and his magic tongue.

I would have to agree with Amethyst on this , I do prefer an unpierced nipple, although I did know someone that had one of theirs pierced. As already stated you need to find a reputable piercing salon to ensure that you it done properly and aseptically. I did years ago look after some in A&E that had an infection as a result of a nipple piercing which was rather quite bad !.

If you must pierce be sure that everything you use is sterile, the needle, the insert. Also wash the area with warm soap and water then just before piercing rub with alcohol and wipe dry with a sterile gauze. If you do not do all of that you risk a nasty infection,
