I'm wondering how long the after effects of certain play procedures might last, and if anyone has experienced embarrassment explaining, for example, the state of their stretched urethra, or other unusual "symptoms" to their doctor at a routine check-up?

There are things I'd like to try in a play setting, but am worried about the lasting, "telling" marks, stretching, etc. that might prompt a mortifying conversation with my gynecologist.

How honest are you, with your doctor, about your fetish activities?

And for the play docs, can we patients expect our bodies to bounce back after invasive play?

Of course your question is in the right thread Steffy.

Anything which is done to you in a play situation should be such that no permanent harm, disfiguration etc is caused - that is, unless you specifically want that.

Yes, of course things like urethral stretching and other activities, if carried out to excess, can leave permanent problems. Carried out sensibly and with pleasure in mind such activities cause no harm.

Agree with your playdoc beforehand what is going to happen - enquire off others if in their opinion its wise. After all, when you're in the throes of being pleasured its pretty hard to keep a straight head on your shoulders.

Above all use an experienced and respected playdoc - read their posts and profile - ask them for references from established zity,biz members and take up those references, directly with the referee, before you agree to anything.

Even under the best hospital conditions a good 60% of all patients develop a UTI (urinary tract infection). Secondarily there is always the off-chance of a broken instrument left inside but this is remote. There is a collection of "Things Extracted From The Female Genital Tract" I believe in the Mutter Museum in Philly of such things as "five jacks with ball," gear shift lever from a Porshe 911 GT3, numerous beans, peas and what struck me as "odd" was the penis of a boar hog! Which on further reflection wasn't all that unlikely
