I was thinking today of various reasons why people become interested in medfet. Here are several that I have thought of:

1. Person is into BDSM and enjoys that in medfet

2. Person is a frustrated actor and enjoys the role play

3. Person is a real medic, who wants a fantasy medical life

4. Person is a would be medic, who wants to fantasize that they are in the medical field

5. Person is looking at medfet as a quick way to meet women

To start this off, I am into mild BDSM as well as role play acting.

Well, as a doctor, it's mainly the role play side of things that attracts me, so I suppose that I must be a frustrated actor! As a patient, I like being totally under the control of the doctor, not knowing what is coming next. That would probably fall somewhere under BDSM.

Good question Lady Teddy, although maybe there do need to be more categories. There may have been good or bad experiences that people had in the past which have made med-fet attractive to them.

Anyway, to answer your questions I got into role playing first, then BDSM, and most recently med-fet, although I disagree that people into role-play are necessarily "frustrated actors". Also, I don't think you'll have many people saying they're in category 5. There are plenty of easier ways to meet chicks!

Well, for me it's a combination of numbers 1 & 3. Yes, I am into BDSM, it's where I actually started then somehow it evolved into Medfet. There's a fine line that divides BDSM and MEDFET, really. If you ask me, it's the power play involved. I mean, with BDSM there's the top and bottom, the one who initiates and the one who receives. Just as it is in MEDFET, there's the doctor who initiates and has authority and then there's the patient who receives treatment and surrenders control. And that's one of the main reasons why I'm into Medfet. I get off on the power play, wielding it when I'm the nurse then being under it when I'm the patient.

Next, I am a real life RN, and again, I'll tell you my medfet has nothing to do with my profession, I became a nurse first before I realized I'm into medfet. Work and Play are different. When I'm at work I'm a professional, it's just another naked body to prod and do stuff to. But when I get home and log on to EC and get turned on, it's a different story. Yes, it's a fantasy medical life in the sense that I get to do the things I obviously cannot and would never do at work. I get to be patient and know what it feels like and I get to be the domme nurse who can ask her patient to do just about anything she fancies.

So there it is, for me it's 1.) connected to bdsm and 2.) it's a way of living a fantasy medical life i cant do as a real nurse.

Yeah, problems there in the categorising, but I like what you're trying to do. Cause many people get here from different directions. I'm, probably a 1 and maybe a bit of a 4, but I wouldn't say I got into medfet through an interest in bdsm, it would be the other way around. Medfet is the strongest manifestation of any bdsm feelings I might have. I've been attracted to medical scenarios since I was around 5 or 6 - seems to have always been there

Not really sure if I fit into any of the categories. If I had to choose just one, it would be a broad interpretation of the B&D in BDSM in a real exam setting. However, the sexual eroticism of a male, often a total stranger, performing the various gynecological procedures on a female's body is really what stimulates my medfet interests. The gyno aspect also lends itself nicely to the play doctor games my wife and I enjoy. Perhaps we are limiting our medfet options but we both like it and that is what counts.

My interest started in my early 20's, first while reading medical books in the public library...pretending I was doing research of course...but I expect the librarians knew otherwise!

I really don't know exactly why I'm interested in this, but it started when I was 13 years old or so.
