I focus on insertables, definitely insertables. In the beginning it was enema nozzles along with the enema and rectal thermometers, around 14 I added cath play. Today in no particular order of preference because I like them all depending on my mood,sometimes chilled or warm or both, it's the following: Specula,thermometers,cath's, sounds, proctoscopes,anoscopes, stainless steel anal/cervical dilators, vented rectal dilators, assorted enema nozzles and bags/hose/hardware, irrigation/lubricant syringes,rectal/vaginal e-stim probes, urethral e-stim probes,smooth glass anal plugs, inflatable anal retention plugs, long colon tubes, inflatable double balloon rectal cath's.

I definitely go for the physical feelings they generate when gently and correctly used. These are nice in that they can be used partnered or solo, partnered is preferable, yet if solo at any given time, I don't let that prevent me having some fun anyway 😃 While I do have a couple of sets of scrubs,cap and a box or two of gloves, a med pro scenario is not essential, it is secondary.
