Body measurements

Anyone ever had their penis or other body parts measure as part of exam or study.

We call this physical anthropology! At one time we had a small group on Yahoo Groups devoted to physical anthropology. I wrote a lab exercise - tested it on a couple people I remember a skier from Austria. I based it on US government documents by the FAA (Federal Aviation Agency Anthropology of Stewardesses. And yes breast at nipple level was included. Maybe someone here would like to pick up the torch and run with this.

Just some ideas, but calipers might work to measure the diameter of the testicles and nipples, nipples in flaccid and stimulated states. distance between nipples, from nipples to penis (to fit nipple/genital clamp and chain), distance from posterior base of penis to anus (length of perineum), circumference of penis at head, top of shaft, mid-shaft and base, distance from base of penis to distal edge of each testicle (one should be lower than the other but how much so?). could also measure width of mouth, distance between upper and lower teeth when mouth is fully opened, perhaps with assistance.

diameter of anal opening when spread open by mechanical means, could correlate diameter with amount of tension applied.

those would be a few.

happy to discuss other things. I'm curious, for example, of what can be done with catheters and sounds, m/f, beyond insertion... some stories have a lot of stuff but I wonder if any of it is actually feasible....

You sure have some vivid ideas here - all well worth implimentation. There's a book called Atlas of Sex by Dickinson. For circumferences he used piece of solder to measure the circumference of the penis - its pliable yet rigid. Going back to high school physics remember the density experiment where one would submerge an object and measure the runoff of water - might this not be apllied to the penis or scrotum. I saw an article I think in the journal "Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery" this being applied to pre-surgical breast operations.

The "load" could be measured upon ejaculation. for distance and for volume. The scrotum volume could be measured by liquid displacement. the weight of the scrotum could also be measured using a special scale. How about this one... the difference between flaccid and erect in terms of 'percent increase'. Also measurable could be duration.... how long can he last with a certain stimulation before ejaculation. just a few ideas

I have read in a few places that the band "10cc" got their name from a study that had been done on the quantity of male ejaculate produced at orgasm. 10cc was what was found to be the average among those studied.

Yes, you should get some of those plastic balls that they use for Tanner staging on boys. They compare the size of the patient's balls to the plastic ones to gauge their development.

Last time i went to my Doctor she measured my waist and entered it with a bunch of other test data and things to come up with a percentage chance of having a heart attack in the next 10 years. would much rather have the other measurements mentioned taken.

Because of a small deformation in my legs, they were measured in detail when I was a teen, in resence of my parents. Then again a couple years ago to check for the source of my backpains, by such a nice young woman at a gym and rehab center. Both were very exciting 😉

Some years ago I went to an urologist that also was specialised in sex disorders, during the exam, he did ask about my sex life, erections, etc

he said that he wated to measure the pressure of my penis in erection.

I never had even heard about this...

He did inject something in my penis, it got fully erected, then he used a small version of a arm cuff pressure meassure that had a small pressure indicator.

I had my neck and chest measured once, and I really liked the experience. It felt as if the doctor was treating me like a piece of meat, which really turned me on.

Unfortunately not, but apparently that is done quite frequently in all the med fet pix and movies. I like what I read about the urologist injecting something into your penis whihc will make it hard.

I always take penis measurements -- ideally flaccid and erect, though there are sometimes practical difficulties with the former 😃 Seeing some of the posts on this string, I think in future I will take chest and other measurements as well.

The erect penis pressure test previously mentioned sounds very interesting.

I think it would be a good idea ot have the penis measured, it can be cross referenced as we get older to se it it gets smaller as we get older

I use a cloth measuring tape and measure waist, chest, head, arm span, biceps, thighs, and get measurements of the penis while erect both length and girth.

The best time to take measurements of the flaccid penis is around 10 minutes after ejaculation 😃

When I was a sophomore in college we did an exercise in psychology class where we measured each other with tape measures. We then compared the results against Dr. William Sheldon's 1940s theory of "somatotypes." I fell almost exactly in the middle of each of his three types, and so was jokingly applauded as "the most average girl in school." Big wow.

About 15 years ago, when I was having regular doctors visits for what turned out to be a cyst on my penis following an earlier circumcision, I was measured.

I never found out what the survey was for, but after one of my regular exams, I was asked if I'd mind taking part in a survey on body size. I agreed. By now I was already redressed, so I left the doctors room and went off with the nurse.

We went into another room in the surgery and she asked if it was okay for another nurse to come in, again I agreed. I'd been examined here quite a lot, so most of the nurses had already seen my bits anyway, but I wasn't sure what this was all about.

The second nurse came in and they said they wanted to measure all of my body as part of a survey into modern human averages. The first nurse then said if I didn't mind they'd like me naked. As I said, they'd already seen me when I'd been examined previously, so I stripped off.

The first nurse took all of the measurements and the second wrote down the results. Height, waist, arm length, leg length... Everything was measured and recorded. After everything was done, she then measured the length and girth of my flaccid penis, then my balls. I was then made erect and measured again.

I dressed and left, never knowing what I just contributed to.

The next visit I made the doctor did thank me again for taking part

I have never actually been measured, but one doctor did do a visual check of the size of my penis and testicles during a collge physical for the track team.

Not something ever done to me. But I am sure to do it with my male patients when I am the doc.

A long time ago (45 years), I had for several years a girlfriend who was very much into medfet. Every time we made love, she gave me an extensive medical exam, me naked, she with her clothes on, which allways ended by taking my rectal temperature on her lap, before allowing me to even kiss her. These sessions are among the best souvenirs of my all life.

On several occasions, she produced a ruber band and mesured my penis length erect and flacid.

As I was young and stupid, I was rather proud of my 17 cm ( 6.7 inches) erect penis.

I actually wonder what's the actual protocol for measuring the penis. “Flaccid” length does not seem to me like a reliable measurement, because “flaccid” state depends on external temperature (cold = shrivel), involuntary arousal, etc. Erect state seems more reliable but certainly one cannot ask a patient to masturbate to erect state to get a measurement!

By the way, my impression is that, as I age and I'm no longer getting the hard erections that I had, my penis does not reach the same dimensions as it did before (my wife and I measured it in its glory days).

A few months ago, as I was telling my ( then) girlfriend about these measurments, she insisted on measuring my penis now..

And so we did. The result was 15,8 cm (5.3 inches).

''Dont worry, she commented, it's still not bad''. Laughing, she added: " We behave like teenagers,… and I like it''.
